So, turns out I can't find egil in any tavern after he left my party. Could anybody explain how to make him available again. Would even use savegame editor, but dunno how-to. Any help is greatly appreciated!

How much time do I have before they join adventurer faction? Right now Egil has left me and I can't find him in any tavern

Camp -> Options -> Gear Affects skills. Make sure it is ticked
I just tested on my savegame and it is working (when that option is enabled).
If it still doesn't work for you: disable it, click "Continue", reopen options and enable it again.
If even that fails upload your savegame

Started new game and will try once more. Btw I stole the crown from a king, could that be a prob?
Anyway I have another issue, so Agathinos told me about this beautiful Gyda Erikdotta and I thougt, well, check her out, but she never seems to be found at Hordaland, where she is supposed to be, according to dozens of npcs... Do I have to meet some requirements to meet her or what's the trick here?

Why get I the feeling, that when we release the module-system and the first mods for VC appear, one will be about
bear-riding vikins VS wolf-riding saxons VS boar-riding gaels, or similar xD

you are shooting from too far away probably, damage falls off alot quicker with distance in VC than in Native

It's true, my bow wasn't upgraded and I used usual arrows rather than bodkin, but I shot him from the very distance, from where you engage the troll. Those shots from the screeny were my first 2 before I switched to melee. It was just kind of weird that a headshot can actually deal 0 damage :p

Would the dev team consider buffing archery a bit? I agree, you shouldnt play Legolas, but this pic was taken fighting 'The Troll' with a high leveled char of mine (power draw 7, Elite Long Bow)
I used Esc to prevent gettin slaughtered

In fact the highest damage, I could deal with the bow was 2!
