The only jedi mind trick I see in this thread, is them trying to convince me that Duke Nukem Forever was only in development for 1-2 years, before being released in an unpalatable state.

I kinda feel bad about necroing this thread, but I do have a question pertaining to this specific compilation:

Custom banners; I have done them before on Native, Diplomacy + PBOD, and Native Mod Compilation. But I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it in this compilation. So is it possible -- seeing as there are beautiful custom done banners in here already? If so, any chance I could get some help?

Edit: I am also having trouble setting up the dedicated server, I get the "Unable to open Modules/Native/sounds.txt" then it gives the usual windows "program stopped working" box.

Yes I also have this problem, but only when I play on my specific server so far.

Just to be certain is this where you find that you can't switch weapons at all, and when you swing your character gets stuck with their arm held back ready to swing but it just stays there? Also I have noticed that during these times some other players will be moving around but stuck in a sitting position or look like they are taking control of a cannon but are actually moving around etc.

Ok I'll trust ya. Sorry just normally everything works fine so when something doesn't I speed test, renew my IP, etc - then try again.

Ok so it works now thanks. But as a side note when I host, it makes 2 servers, one of which behaves normally and the other refuses everybody on the grounds of invalid authorisation key.

I've tried downloading that twice now and it both times it has stopped saying interrupted at 184mb of 213mb.

I seem to have an odd predicament in which my server is said to be running version 0.000 so it will not allow anyone to join.

Well that sucks, cause I started a server to test commander mode out with 3 friends, one went Arty. Anyways this is disappointing, but thanks for the quick responses. I'll lock this now if I have the authority.
