    why is archery so broken in this mod and everything else just pales at its side?

    Bows' shot speed significantly reduced.(Noldor Composite Bow and Mettenheim Arbalest have almost same range.) Damage values reduced significantly so you can't one shot every creature with a bow. Speed values also reduced slightly. And accuracies lowered by 1. Arrow damages reduced significantly but ammo raised. (40-4:cool:
    Crossbows, now have a bit more range and lower rate of fire. There is 20-24 bolts in a quiver now.
    Horses: Lowered hit points, speed values, edited armor (mostly lowered) and manuever values, raised charge values.

    Iirc they do have their own page in characters section when made lords, it lists their renown, what type of lord they are and I presume now their wealth.

    Yes, It seems they have. I recruited all of them from cheatmenu in a game for testing, that's why they didn't appear in characters I think. Sorry.

    1. Renown values of lords should be changed to 4000-5000 and lieges should be changed to 7500-8000. If we can get so much renown they also should get. And that also make the game more difficult because we will no longer awarded fiefs so much and the other lords or king won't follow us as easy as before.

    Edit: If the renown values will be changed ai parties should get less bonus from renown for party size.

    One more suggestion:
    2. Why there is no page for companions in the notes/characters screen? I think there should be their page at least when they became a lord/lady.

    I'm doing some tests against my cko knights. I dehorsed them and gave bows and changed them from cavalry to archer. But every time I reload a save game, they directly attack me instead of creating an archer line. So my changes turn back to default.

    3. Crossbows: "Did devs take power draw and agility into consideration when calculating missile speed? Because these two increase missile speed of bows pretty much. So almost all archers outrange crossbowmans. A Sarleon longbowman with 12 agi 250 arc prof. and 6 power draw can shoot as far as a Mettenheim Heavy Crossbow. The former uses a longbow with 65 shot speed, the latter uses a mettenheim arbalest which has 85 shot speed."

    I kinda agree. There are bunch of reasons why bows stand out in PoP over crossbows (this difference is way bigger when talking about the ones that can be used on horse, but crossbows stand out on sieges as they can output more total damage, its just through a slower dps, but more time shooting (which the archer will try to use to support their comrades on the melee, which feels odd as the crossbowman is more armored than the archer, when its the last type of troop to join the melee).

    As archers will surely get out of ammo first if they had the same range than crossbows (but bows have even more). This wont matter much on sieges, that is where crossbows excel, as normally they'll be shooting enemies climbing the ladder/enemies over the walls, which is short range, but this will help them do slightly better in battles, as they will have time to shoot an extra shot before the cavalry reaches the front line for example (tho this extra shot will the the most inaccurate of the 4 as its the one shot when the enemy is most far away). What i suggest is to raise the shot speed of crossbows by ~20, this will increase their range (still should be on average less than bows), and slightly raise the chance of it "piercing through a shield".

    And also the number of bolts in a quiver is too much compared to arrows. I don't know much about it but as I read there should be a ratio like 1/2 between bolts and arrows. After that changes crossbows would not be too op. Maybe even with a damage buff.

    In his work Longbow: A Social and Military History, Robert Hardy states that the archers of Edward III's reign often carried two quivers at his back. The leather spacers from the quivers that were aboard the Mary Rose, a Tudor-era ship that sunk in 1545, have about 24 holes, indicating 24 arrows were carried. So two quivers would have been two sheaves, or 48 arrows.

    In Medieval Warfare, Terence Wise also states that 48 was the standard number of arrows carried by longbowmen (two sheaves or quivers worth). This is also the number stated in Arms and Armour of the Medieval Knight by David Edge and John Miles Paddock.

    In Agincourt 1415: Triumph Against the Odds, Matthew Bennett states that each archer carried as many as four dozen arrows in a quiver at his waist belt, but I wonder if this number actual refers to two quivers-worth. In the same source, the author states that about a dozen bolts were carried by crossbowmen in a box-like quiver

    Bowmen could also carry arrows tucked into their belts. I imagine the number carried in this fashion might have varied, although there was apparently a common saying in the Middle Ages that every English archer carried twenty-four Scots under his belt.

    Items tagged as 'merchandise' appear total randomly in shops afaik. And that's my experience as well. So you have equal chances to find those Nemean Helm and Highlander Armor/Boots in any town. Foreign Two Handed Saber is not available as merchandise, so you have to loot one for yourself.

    Some items have a faction in Morgh's Editor, so I think these only appear in that faction's cities. Nemean Helm's is kingdom_5(Empire) and Highlander Armor's is kingdom_2(Ravenstern).

    I conquered Shieldstorm Castle and exchanged it with Walven Castle but I also owned Walven in the end. I don't know if it always happen like that or it's because I exchanged it right after the liege awarded it to me but the village had no owner.

    I have a prisoner named x\ and can't sell or disband it. I think I used ctrl+a for hiring troops from rescued prisoners instead ctrl+s and that happened.

    I'd wager this is the result of the issue where poor lords get banished to the shadowrealm a friendly city and essentially stop existing in combnation with the new full auto-garrisons meaning that successful attackers rarely lose much momentum.

    But maybe it's just a fluke. AI snowballing wasn't unknown pre 3.9 either.

    I think it's just about the number of lords the factions have. In Pop options there is an option to disable auto defections. Maybe it will help.
