Some of the pubbers were ripping on my name, so here goes.

Over a decade ago, I signed up for some hockey forums.  I was big into an old local (at the time) band named The Oxymorons.  They had a pretty good song called "Taoist Lumberjack", and I figured it would make an awesome username that few would get.  Unfortunately, the boards I joined had a character limit, and all usernames were lower cased for some reason, so taoistlumberjak it was.

Improvements to forum software over time has rendered all those problems long gone, but I stuck with the name out of absolute, sheer laziness.

There were a couple guys with what I suspect were fake regiment tags TK'ing repeatedly and then doing the in-game version of throwing their hands in the air and yelling "IT WASN'T ME!"

The horse musician chase seems funnier, in a Benny Hill-esque sort of way.

Now, if your name for the past 8 years or so of MB was Betty...

1)  Change your name to "Solar_Bear"
2)  Problem solved

I'm going out and getting my next edition Mayan calendar on the 21st.
Are we still doing the real line battle this Friday?  I'm hoping the feedback was positive enough that it didn't get cancelled.  Besides, it gave me an idea about the organization of community regiments that would make a line battle like Sarge proposed something more common.

This is a great idea, and opens up the chance of using historical tactics.  Firing by company, the light company moving out and skirmishing (and all the tactics used therein) and then reforming as a reserve.  If people became proficient in this mode, even moving in column by company or division would be one hell of a sight to see (if that type of movement were allowed).

There are so many things that would be amazing to watch done.  When I started playing linebattles, I thought that it would be run much like the mode proposed above.  It's good to see it happening.
