    It looks like it needs to move up and enlarged slightly.  Hold on a sec and I'll try editing the obj.

    Try talak_litchina2.obj first, then talak_litchina3.obj if 2 is too small still.

    Apologies to everyone who was waiting for this.  I was planning to improve the texture, but never got around to it.  And more apologies, because you'll have to add it to the game yourself.

    The file includes the .obj and lod files, and the diffuse and specular images.  You'll need to import with BRFedit and assign the materials.

    Sorry about that, error in readme.txt.  I used to have another brf included.


    Anyway, I've started a bit of work again; I'm working on a russian style sabre (not mapped or textured yet):

    I don't think I ever released that litchina helm either, this will probably go well with that.  Don't know when they'll be ready.  The texturing on the helm needs improving, got to curve the sabre blade more, uvmap and texture it etc.

    Edit Mount&Blade\Data\font_data.xml and increase font_size= to decrease the onscreen size.  Mine's set at 115.

    Need suggestions for good mods.

    Best to give this thread a read, it has feature lists of major mods:

    Try 1257 or Europe 1200 for a historical mod, there's a few others as well.  Personally I'm enjoying Prophesy of Pendor (not historical though).  Sword of Damocles is great, but I get crashes with it, and I don't really want to lower my settings too much.

    Multiple mods can be installed at the same time, so I'd recommend trying a few out that sound interesting.

    Because on certain systems character shadows and M&B's AA system are incompatible with each other, you idiot.

    I posted the probable solution which has worked for other people, not a guess, but even so it is as ViciousRaptor stated, this is a standard troubleshooting step; AA and post-processing or shadows are notorious for being incompatible with some setups in many games, especially those using deferred rendering (M&B doesn't use this method as far as I'm aware, but the incompatibility still exists).  Don't post if you've got no idea what you're talking about.

    AA can usually safely be enabled through the GPU's control panel, which bypasses M&B's method and uses the nVidia or ATI method.
