    The Mod "CharacterCreation" is open source, so I looked in some of the code-files. In the cs there is:

    Well if you have any clues about it please message me cause i have the same issue. i could spot the files and how they work but couldn't so far really get how they are linked and how they are declared. And i'm looking for it for two days lol. (Of course i do not do only this ... But it start to seriously bug me).
    There should be a way and it's most likely below our eyes as it's not Engine related but inside the sandbox submodule that most of this is done ... But it's quite shady i must say.

    I think I found something.

    In TaleWorlds.Core -> TaleWorlds.Core there are one hand "XmlHelper" and "XmlResource". In XmlResource, there are the functions: "GetXmlListAndApply" and "InitializeXmlInformationList". I think, thats could be the holy grail xD

    Alright, i ran into the very same issue lately while trying to modify the UI.
    I don't know if you are familiar with WPF in C#, but in fact it's pretty close to it, if not exactly the same. Each XML file is tied to a class file, that is some sort of listener, and this .cs file will store all the variables you can use in your XML but also the methods you can call from it.

    Yea, I thought it is like you discripe. I wondered about, how to change the called .cs. There must be a linking-file or something i guess. It is a bit unusual, that the used cs is not declared in the xml file itself. So there are two options i think: first, there is a link-file, which link the cs with the xml files and give the paths to the files. Second, the cs file self is loaded and in the cs file there is the path to the xml file. Another option i dont see.

  7. Resolved A.I. Logic for Faction Changing Needs Fixed

    I can see how that would make sense, if it wasn't for the fact that almost every single vassal considers their king/queen to be an enemy and hates them because they hoard fiefs. And, if what you're saying IS the case... Then when I successfully convince someone to join my faction, it should reset their relation with that faction leader. You shouldn't have a scenario where someone immediately flip flops between factions... Especially when you have to win a roll 4 times to convince them to come over.

    But in the current environment, when a lord/lady leaves their original faction and takes every fief they have with them, it should ruin their relation with that original faction and they should never be welcomed back. If they're going to change factions again, it should never be back to one they belonged to before... It should be a deep and meaningful decision to leave. And, the lords/ladies that join your faction and say they are "honor bound" and don't make you pay them... Those lords/ladies should also relinquish their fiefs when they depart and leave on decent terms.

    Yes, I Agree. Lords should reset their relation and not should let join the further faction. I see your point.

    Its not important, how good the relation with YOU is, it is important, how good the relation with the faction leader is. If she hates him, she will get away very fast. If you have your own kingdom, then of course, your relation is relevant. So, it is not a bug, it is a comprehensible behavior.

    Hmm...in a real world I would say, just because there are no soldiers anymore, the civilians dont open you the doors ^^ So you have to crackdown the doors minimum or build some ladders. Not unrealistic I would say ^^

    This is both clever and sadistic ?. If you use tourney arrows (since there are lvl 0 bows) you can at least use blunt damage to knock them out instead of killing =D

    A good old club do the same with blunt ^^ some hits on the head...knocked out xD
  11. Little advice for developers.

    First: You belive in conspiracies right? Why they should ban you? Keep calm and dont do "fortune telling". Its not a good manner.

    Second: I dont have the feel, that the patches made the game badder. The Skilling works better, Crashes were fixed, caravans are now more in danger, what is definitly a better balancing and so on. So, in first, it is YOUR opinion that the patches made it badder, not the opinion of the masses.

    Third: Be constructive. Your post helps nobody. Not the developers, not the gamers, nobody. WHAT is your problem with money, caravans, tounaments, workshops and so on. Your post is just a rand with minimal helpfull parts (fixing perks, clan relation etc.)

    yes, just try it myself. With 2 bow and horse skills "use any bow on horse" - i cant use Longbow(

    I have 75 crossbow skill + crossbow cavalary skill but I can't reload my crossbow on horseback please solve this bug. Also there are 2 same skills in riding skill tree and bow skill tree.

    You should work on you expression. You dont need to SCREAM in your Post-Topic. Nobody likes screaming kids :wink:

    I trained it a little...different ^^

    I hired some Crossbow-Archers, start a battle against looters, killed my own Crossbow-Man and picked the Crossbow up...

    So i gained fast the required 20 Skillpoints ^^
