    After capturing a castle the vote was held, and the first candidate was a dead lord. (And he was given the fief) Said lord did not have a heir either, as his wife was also dead, and the only kid was listed as missing.

    That is the reverse of the issue - the issue is that I attempt to rob you, and you stop me - and then I get pissed about it...

    It is very much an early game quest - you get support from the village, and it is basically a way to earn good loot early on. Besides, if you ride into the village with a hundred men, the deserters are not going to show up while you are there…
  4. [Suggesion] the game is base on tier system (clans, troops, armors...) why not the player?

    We have this partially - you need a certain level of ride to get on a good horse, a certain level of archery for bows and a certain level of crossbow for crossbows. It could be made so that you need a cerain level of 1 handed skill to equip a good 1h weapon. Heck, some of this could have been made as perks.
  5. Why is Medicine so slow to rise?

    You get xp every time someone is hurt in battle, and as people are healed (used to be only healed in settlements, but I've noticed level ups while travelling lately). So, you can try having your recruits charge a castle, (or raid a village), and then run away once the recruits are downed. Heal the survivors, and hire someone to replace the ones you couldn't save...
  6. Resolved Duplicating available prisoners while recruiting

    Can confirm this bug. The recruitment process works as normal when shift clicking, but the increment counter goes down by 1 in each case. So, if you have 20 prisoners, 5 available to recruit, the first shift click will get you 5 and the available to recruit goes down to 4, second will get you 4 and the counter goes to 3, etc...
