In that case, I'll happily be patient.  You'd get more help from a chimp with a sugar high than me, as far as coding and modeling goes.  But I happily give you guys a thumbs-up and eagerly await the release.

Seriously.  I've played many mods I've loved, but this is almost a new game.  Bloody shame the Firefly mod went the way of the dinosaurs.  Now I need to look for a Stargate mod... 

Um, as for the "Ninja Sword," I've read that these technically didn't exist.  They either used modified farm tools (most common), or--if they were VERY lucky-- a samurai weapon such as a katana.

For the game, I certainly understand modifying the stats of the katana (perhaps even the length, such as making it shorter and faster) and placing it as a new weapon for these troops.  I'm certainly not against it; I just had to toss in my two cents as far as historic weaponology is concerned.

Ah, and I'm eagerly waiting, of course!

Gah, looks like this thread went cold nearly a year ago.  What's the chance there's a version for 1.010/1.011?  I saw a mod with a revolver and just had to search for Firefly.

I'd love to just have a t-shirt or mousepad (specifically the mousepad) with the name written across the top with the awesome font they use, and one of the random pictures used in the loading screen and the start screen.  Nothing too in-game specific, just some cool artwork (such as the Concept Art gallery).  Or, just a real big "M&B" like they have for the shortcut icon.  Heck, I'd start using a mug if I could get one with the "M&B" written on it, and I hate coffee!  Awesome idea, in my opinion.
