  1. [S] Warring States II - Released 15 Oct 2010

    yeah, none too concerned.  Plus, given that for students we've just gotten out of exams and into break, I wouldn't be at all surprised if he's relaxing.  If I remember right he's a student, at least.

    Even native AI use skirmishing; just watch khergits during a battle.

    Love it, by the way - I had given up on mounted archers but this feature makes them awesome.  Huscarls+Khergits for the win.

    Also - love the archer branch to Samurai.

    I was wondering if you're planning on breaking up some of the remaining large factions more?  It works pretty well as-is, but Nords definitely took a hit compared to the rest :sad:  Good thing they're still godlike.
  3. [S] Warring States II - Released 15 Oct 2010

    Personal request - can you make the Samurai have an archer branch to their progression (slightly worse at power strike in exchange for some power draw points), or make them all have some archery ability?  I can change it with the troop editor, but if it's in the core game I would be much happy :smile:
  4. [S] Warring States II - Released 15 Oct 2010

    I have yet to check the new version: I'm playing the v.1.02 version.  Two things - one has been posted since last time I checked but;

    1) Incultan city is too far to the edge of the map - caravans and armies are stuck inside/outside it, cannot cross the invisible border.  it may just be that the city is rotated somehow, the graphic shows the gate pointing away from Calradia.

    2) Sarranid villages recruit Incultan troops.  This isn't a huge issue for me yet, as the Incultans can't really attack anyone, but it could cause huge moral issues if the city bug gets fixed.

    Hope this helps - great mod!
  5. Morgh's M&B WB/WFAS Editor v1.50

    My issues have gone away since I tried a reinstall of morgh's as well as the module.  I was just using the .txt editor.

    Good luck Hawkeye
  6. Morgh's M&B WB/WFAS Editor v1.50

    Hello world;

    Hey guys,

    I've been trying to add items to my module using the .txt editor.
    I followed the exact same method as a friend did on his version of Warband. But for some reason, whenever I access the cheatmenu in game and try to "find item..." My added item doesn't reflect in the list. The list on goes as far as 601. I know for a fact that my .txt file has 602 items, not counting the first and last entries.

    The 2nd line of the .txt file says, "604" after saving it. Is there some minor thing that I am overlooking? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I have v1.05 of the Mod Tool and v1.127 of Warband. (My friend uses v1.02 of the Mod Tool.)

    Hey I also got a problem, im trying to change the stats for some of my items but after updating and saving the changes in the item editor and starting the game I can't see any changings in-game when I'm selecting for example a Nordic Sword. I tried several times with different items and none of the stats changed.

    Help?
    I also have a problem similiar to yours, except I am trying to rename one of my Towns, from Pravern to Pendragon. I am running the Diplomacy Mod, and even after I hit update and save changes, after I load the game, no changes are made.

    Like these people, I have been trying to mod a mod that I did not make - I started with the Open Source project mod for Warband, and used Morgh's tools v1.05 to attempt to do the following (on different tests, not all at once):

    1) add troops to the end of an existing tree (the own-faction troops)
    2) edit the items an existing troop type uses
    3) edit the name of an existing troop type

    I updated the troops, and saved changes to the .txt files (I've only been using the .txt editor - more on this later).  I then tested the mod by loading it - it loaded fine.  Making a new character and checking on the troops I tested, I didn't see any of the changes.  I did each of the tests on a separate, undamaged version of the open mod files.

    I'm running Warband and Morgh's Mod Tools as an administrator in Windows 7.

    I attempted to change the .py files at one point, but I am a n00b and don't have experience coding python.  I also don't know how I should go about using the mod system on someone else's mod...

    Is there a help manual somewhere for how to use the tools?

    I only want to make some VERY basic changes to my game (have the "strange" items available for purchase, have custom troops (mostly like samurai), and (ideally) change the damage values for some attacks/events)

    I've tried most of the mods and my basic issue is that they all have features that I want along with ones I really don't...

    Also - I did try to work my way through all the previous questions, but since there ARE 60 pages now, I could easily have missed something.  if you know that this has been answered, pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.

    Sorry about the novel :smile:
