I'm not sure how having no cartridges left and patiently waiting for the two remaining enemy players to drive six feet from their spawn to kill me with a full 5 minutes left on the clock is 'delaying'. But please, do provide screenshots.

Except it isn't an issue. We've explained this and you've waved it away with a 'YEAH BUT'. We enforce the rules and we tell people what they are. You broke the rules, ignored the admins and got cheeky. You were punished. Now deal with it.

I was not present for much of the drama that you detailed in your post however I can shed light on what occured while I was present.

When I first slayed you (when you were building barricades on the spawn ship of Arabian Harbour) I used admin chat twice to tell you not to camp the ship and to destroy your barricades. You did not do so and so you were slain. Simple as that.

On the following map you decided it would be good fun to construct a skycase with barricades, something that we have never allowed and something I dont think any server with Build Points active has ever allowed. You then went on for about five minutes, insulting the staff and myself and arguing with me non-stop. You were then temp banned.

I will admit, Penn has not updated our MOTD or various forum threads with the updates rules or map specific rules. This is a problem. However it is not MY problem. The staff who are admins on the server know the rules. We are tested on them before we become admin. We know the map specific rules and we warn you when you do things wrong (or at least I do. I was not present for the earlier bits of drama). When we tell you something is against the rules and you argue with us about it it becomes clear that you're more interested with being a hassle than you are playing on the server.

We are the admins. We know the rules. If we say something is against the rules then it is against the rules because it is what we have been taught and told.

From what I saw you are little more than someone who enjoys delaying rounds, arguing with others and being a general nuisance. Many of those on the server present at the time would agree with this assessment. And seeing as Penn himself was sick of your garbage I think it's safe to say this will indeed fall on deaf ears. Not because we're corrupt or abusive or powermad. But simply because we know who we're dealing with.

The only good thing to come of this post however is an example of how we need to update our listed rules here on the thread and the main site.

Are you willing to dedicate 1-2 hours per day MINIMUM to being an admin (yes or no)? Yes

Admin Experience (if any): None on any M&B servers sadly, though I do have roughly six years collective admin experience on various source servers (Day of Defeat: Source, Neotokyo, Garry's Mod)

Why do you want to be an admin for the servers?: I enjoy the server immensly and the majority of people who play on it are all great people. That being said, rounds are often drawn out by people camping their spawns or trolling, causing the population to die down for awhile (along with the irritation they bring to other players) This isn't always a problem but more often than not (in my experience) I've noticed that many of the admins on the server are offline or asleep when these problems arise.

I guess I'd like to be an admin to deal with these problems when they come up more than anything.

I appear to be having some trouble locating the server despite it being added to my favorites list. When refreshing the server will flash by for about half a second in the list before going away and not showing up, regardless of the filter being on or off and the filter settings.

Is this a problem with my game or is there something going on with the server at the moment?
