    Help me understand the versions of the game

    Its been a while since I've played, I'm completely confused on the versions when I look at the betas. What the hell is "e"1.x.x?
    Which one is new version 1.2.9 or version e1.9.0?
    And what is the normal stable release version number while were at it?

    the e1.x.x are early access updates
    the v1.x.x are since release
    currently the latest is 1.2.9

    Thank you so much!! So just a bad troop type in xml? Could you elaborate a little on that for me? I'm new to this coming over from Rimworld and Minecraft modding. Thanks for responding! :smile:
    just had this error the other day, for me it was a bad troop id in the party template xml but it shoudl happen at the start in that case.
    as for the late date the one time I had an issue that late was the upgrade path of one of my troops that wasn't upgrading to a troop one tier higher

    not sure the game has any CM, more like some devs are active on the forum

    the community managers and dev have always been silent in between update and will come back a few weeks before the next one, as usual
    it's taking longer than usual sure but it's nothing surprising, nor to be worrying about
    seeing how long it took to leave the 1.2 beta I'm pretty sure there are very few devs left working on BL, so a new patch will take longer

    Hi, I've worked out all the kinks in my CFE, CEK modpack except this last hurdle and it's driving me insane - outsane even...if someone could please take a look at my pastebin and tell me if the call stack looks familiar or if any of the mods I have are potentially causing this issue I would owe you a beer - or water, whatever you want, please just help me. <3 Bombcat


    I believe it's an error related to having a bad troop in your XML, at least looks very similar to an error I had in the past and that was the issue
    You should however uninstall any mod that isn't directcly related to your mod when trying to find the cause behindit,to make sure your mod is the source

    Resolved General Mods vanish every start up

    Evertime I close my game and relaunch all my mods disappear and I have to uninstall and resubscribe to my mods. I only use the steam workshop mods and don't have Internet access most the time so idk why steam would mess with my files in offline mode.
    afaik the workshop doesn't work when offline no matter the game, so anything you download from it disapears as long as you are offline

    Levies and settlement specialisation - Gameplay Changes to settlement management and recruitment.

    - Removing loyalty & security from castles, they're defensive fortifications & they already can't rebel, so why do they have it? Removing them would help castles with their building construction speeds massively
    man this so much, castles shouldn't be towns with all the drawbacks and none of the usefulness
    I really wish we would get that and something that uses the navmesh blocking of the previous updates, like preventing bandit parties of caravan blocade

    Assistance with adding my own model to the game

    Hello everyone, I'm trying to add my shield model to the game. I've done everything, but the shield is floating inside my character's body. I've changed the values of position and rotation in the shield file (items.xml), but it didn't lead to any changes. Does anyone know how to fix this?
    have you given it the proper bone attachment point ?

    It might be a good time to talk about Sturgian Druzhinnik

    as of when? I thought it was only removed for seiges
    on the 1.2.7 patch notes :

    • Reworked the Auto Battle Calculation system.
      • Mission and terrain types now provide bonuses or penalties for attackers and defenders.
      • For example, an attacking horse archer on flat terrain now has a large bonus but if you throw him into the forest that converts into a large penalty. Defending archers do great in a siege while attacking ones receive a penalty and so on.
      • Perks of the Army/Party leader that have a Captain effect now also give a bonus to all the troops under their command. A tier is determined for each of these perks and those are then counted together. Tier 1-3 gives a bonus of 1%, tier 4-6 of 2%, tier 7-8 of 3%, and tier 9+ of 6%.
        • For example, having the Deft Hands (T6) and Form Fitting Armor (T2) perks results in a bonus of 3% (T8 ).

    which is why an infantry druzhinnik would be nicer with the new patch, now we just have to hope that snow and rain buff inf even more and it would be very good on sturgia

    Cav bonuses get a 20 percent bonus in auto resolve and move faster on the map, so more cav heavy factions will generally do stronger in auto resolve wars

    Revert back to the Warband System for Formations/Unit Assignments

    The new system is better and more flexible, but it wouldn't hurt with some improvements to give the player even more control.

    Like say, the player being able to set a tag on specific units in the party screen, and then in the formation manager have a filter to give preference to tagged troops, working the same as the existing filters for heavy armor etc.
