I meant to play fallout online months ago but I kind of never got around to it as I was moving house at the time. I'll probably jump on later tonight if anyone is keen. woo

I just started playing this again. I stopped last time after *cough* "acquiring" my first M7 class vessel, I had 2 m6 an m2 loads of heavy attack fighters etc. Kind of not sure if i want to continue when I think about the time and effort involved in rebuilding my empire. It's kind of annoying the way the more cool stuff you have the less time you spend doing fun things and more time playing space excel.

I agree it's gettin a bit stale. can't even play now my guys are all lv 4. im gonna stick it out a bit longer

nup. I opened one with a hex editor and i couldnt see any reference to a file format. maybe it is proprietary.

I've been waiting for a non ascii version of this game for ages, but i'm beginnng to get the feeling that it is a never happening kind of thing. should I just have at it?

If anyone doesn't plan on playing and already has a slot, feel free to give up your place to active players so we can get to level 2 faster.

at the current rate, it should only take about.... a month

oh btw guys so far I've put 100% of the deposit for the clan so if everyone could chuck in a little bit that'd be awesome.

and sadly there no VP or anything like that as far as I can see.

Also, if I ask the merchant in the first town "what do merchants buy and sell here" I get a lockup and Just now BSOD Page_fault_in_unpaged_area.

edit: thought I'd better update, that I had not updated from .02 to .03 .. problems gone away now.

M&B still not playing nice with other programs though.
