Totally agree that the main story line quest restricts game play and hinders it later if you decided to go more sandbox. For instance if you join other factions and take part in wars you maybe blocked from the towns that the main story characters are located in making it impossible to continue the story. Not that is goes anywhere at the moment, but it would stop you from getting the flag, going independent etc.)
