  1. I wish spears have swings without shields

    I think swinging spears should be used as a parry or defence not an offence. Especially when you are in a shield wall.
    Spears are good at keeping enemies at a distance, if your enemy succeed to close the distance, then you should be in danger.
    From ancient to medieval times you rarely fought 1v1 with two hand spears or spear and shield. This video from lindybeige explains why

    The one feature I miss is stabbing with spears when you have your shield up, as you should do. You don't lower your shield to stab.

    Those are the effects of me nudging wars against the factions. The "push" I gave them will be removed in 4.0. They are actually quite peaceful without it.

    But i like it when factions have long outdrawn fights with each others. The Adaniens almost conquer the nords. They had like 2-5 castles and only one city left. Then the nords was saved by the villinise after they declared war upon adana. When King Tonotto (or what his name is) rushed to meet up with the invaders. the nords retaliate and took back its own land and around 1/3 of adana. Then the khergits wanted a piece of the action and conquered another 1/3 and the villinise succeeded take the rest.i was busy with my own war against sarranids, or i had too got some piece of the adanian cake.
    The funny thing is that the vaegirs allways declare war on me when the truce ends and around 1 week later they wants to be friends again. They never attack me. And if they see me they flee, even if they have more then dubble, sometimes even triple.

    And in an other game the khergits declared war upon all factions and was never at peace. They didn't last long.

    Edit: I want to report a bug too. When i besige a castle/town first it says it have food for 7days. After i have build the ladders it have gone upp to like 11 days. And if i dont succed in taking the castle/town on the first try the food storage increases even higher.

    Edit 2: Bug report. My death cam dont seems to work. I cant move the camera. So when i die the camera freeze, but im still able to move it around static.

    Its not small. Its very big, but its crowded. There is a lot of villages, castles and towns. And often you run after bandits or enemy lords and engage them near a village and spawn 50 villagers that mess up the troop lineup.

    And the other side is that you can use it to your advantage and lure enemy's in to an ambush.

    Edit: I have been thinking of something that you could do later on the game.

    How about arming your own troops?
    Instead of upgrading your troops on the field, you have to take your troops to a town or castle and upgrade them there. To do so you need to have weapons and armor for each troop you need to upgrade.

    The weapon, armor and horses will be ordinary commodities like bread and wine (and for god sake please do so beer and wine will give moral to the troops, my soldiers die sometimes of thirst).

    And for making the weapon and armor you need a blacksmith and iron.

    Lets say you want to train 50 heavy cavalry. First recruit 50 peasent and train them, in the field or in a castle, then you buy weapons, armor and horses. If you are rich you can buy more expensive and better equipment and they will be better. You can fit your soldiers as you want. Even tailor made troops. So 25 cavalry might have a lance and a shield and 25 have lighter, faster horses and are lighter fitted to harass.

    And each faction will have its strengths and weaknesses. Villinise recruits will be better with bows and light leather then in a tincan on a horse with a lance in his hand.

    The factions still has the same strengths and weaknesses as of today, or future changes.

    This would be god if the castle constable would handle this. Insted of telling him to train random troops each week. You can tell him to train 50 recruits, with medium armor and long spears. After a week you will have an infantry unit with spears. He will buy proper equipment and equip them with it.

    I love the game and the size of the map. I have been spending around 75 days fighting the Villinise Dutchy.

    The map can sometimes feel to crowded, not the bandit problem, but there is to tight space.
    Instead of removing some cityes, castels or villages, increase the time of the day.

    If a trip between two cities takes ½day after the increase it takes 1 and ½day the trip will feel a lot of longer and the space will feel alot bigger. And the whole map will feel a lot bigger.

    Then there is no need to increase or decrease the speed och the world map npc.
    It will go little faster to train troops, and it might be good to increase the building times for buildnings.
  6. Suggestions for Implementation within the Mod

    One cool thing i would see in torments is death match Kill or be killed. This will also apply in battlefield.

    Lets say you are fighting a lord in a battlefield or a torment, he got 75hp and in 3 drops you get him down do 5 hp, Then you deal a strike of 35dmg so he will have minus 30hp and then he will die, same rules will apply to you to. if you got more then -25hp you will be permanent dead.

    lets say you will get -20hp you can still die if you don't have enough surgery. If you or the lord gets killed your campain is over. This can even happend to kings. If a lord or king dies he will be replaced by a new lord, ehiter by another lord or by a Nobel. If you kill a lord or king you will get some renown and honor, if you kill a lord/king of your faction you will get a signifies loos of reputation and honor.
  7. University and changing capital city

    I think i have read in game that university is a uniqe building and you can only build one in your kingdom.

    Thay give a warning if you realy want to build it there becouse if you loose it you cant build anotherone. Im not 100% if it need to be in your capital.

    Check praven and see if you have still have it.
  8. city is -15 to me and it is getting lower and lower

    You can lower it if you do some quests from guildmaster.

    No it doesn't depends where they are. Yesterday i ask 3 of my lords if they could patrol around jilberg castle because i had a lot of movement in that area with both swadian and Marc's so they looted and pillage my towns and caravans. (i have annihilated the nords and are atm in war with swadians).

    I have tested to ask them to follow me and they wont, i have asked them if they can go to my capital and they will, when they leave theirs castles Ive asked them again if they can follow me or patrol around somewhere and they wont, then they return to there own castle. Its a little bit annoying because swadians are a little to powerfull for one army and i need a lot of power to beet them.

    Yesterday i thought of something that would be very nice to have more recruit options in towns.
    Insted of running around to diffrent villages and recruit low-end soldiers that take a long time to lvl up.
    Instead you have diffrent options in what you would build in your towns.

    The men recruited in town will be harder to upgrade in field but will have lower wages and will have a higher cost to recruit.
    The men can be recruited in 5, 10, 15 and 20 quantities. The higher the men are the more they will cost and they need to be in Que longer.

    Like low end will take 2 days to train the mid end 4 days to recruit and highend/nobles will have 6 days to train.

    Lets say i want to train 10 mid end archers 4 days at a cost of 2500, 15 high end infantry for 6 days for a cost of 3000 and 5 mid end cavalry for 4 days and for a cost of 3000, training will be completed in 6 days at a cost of 8500.

    Low, mid, and high will have basic cost and training, the cost will only change in these if you want to recruit more solders.
    You can recruit all three diffrent but only one typ of infantry, archers/xbow men and cavalry at one time.

    I think something like that can be implanted in the mod without to much work. I have tested some mods that have something like this.

  10. Weird FPS problems.

    I'm only noticed this in some mountains where i use horses and its very frustrating. I try to not use any formations and play with a lot of archers in these areas, I have even noticed if you dismount your cavalry the game will go a little smoother.
  11. Suggestions for Quests within the Mod

    One thing i wanna see i future versions is diffrent quest from lords under your command.

    Today it doesent mather if you are neutral, friend or king. Go collect taxes, he lend me money and more like that.

    One thing hade been cool if you can give him quest like that and if hi succeds he will get litte reeown and get better rep with you.

    Sometimes i feel like thay are my king and im there subjekt i want to feel that i am a king and can play around with them like thay can with me...

    I don't know if anyone has brought this PP but i want to see more tax options, able to change tax in diffrent parts of your kingdom/empire.
    like if you have taken over the nords, swaidian and vagiers you would have 3 diffrent regions like middle, coast and west region.

    Then i have a little problem to send my lords around for diffrent missions, i want the to patrol around a castle and all saw "sorry i cant do that" even if I ask if they can patrol around there own castle and i have over 75 in reputation with them.

    There are some minor tweaks and fixes that could be done but I'm think you already trying to fix them...

    I have tried over 10 diffrent mods and this is the by far the best mod i have tried
