To be honest, I'm kind of disappointed by how small some of those perks are, such as the 2%, 3%, and +2 increases. I suppose there will still be a very large difference between someone with a low and high skill though.
I am 99% certain that perks will have ranks, so the first perk gives you 2%, but there'll be a higher level version to take that will be 4%, then 6/8/10 etc.
That way you can choose whether to spend your perks on building a deep-skilled character who has very high ranks in damage dealing/training/affecting morale, or a wide-skilled one who has a bit of everything
Too slow if you want to be a horse archer or lancer but great for pure melee-ing. I tend to give them to my heavy companions as they benefit from the tankiness far more than anyone else
Easy experience and money though.
Just kite him into a marshal force of any friendly faction (rel>0) and attack him while being close enough to other lords.
I don't understand how people can state that so nonchalantly. When I try to do it I'm either too fast and they break off to chase someone else and then I have to go back towards them to pickup the chase and then it all repeats. Or if I get them close enough to another large army they either run away or the other army runs away. I can't actually remember a time where they engaged. Now I've happened upon two large armies fighting, but not kited into it by me.
You can engage an army that's running away from another, and as long as they're in a 'running away' state you have the option to leave the conversation screen without initiating battle
Once you've done that the army you've just talked to freezes for a very short time while the army chasing them continues without stopping, so if you engage/leave multiple times even a slow army can catch the one you're pestering
Agreed, the shorter length actually seems to help. The AI is quicker than a human character at going for the lowest swing possible on a horse from 'normal' riding (no mouse to move over etc.), and weapons around length 70 when swung at this position always take the head of infantry doing massive damage with a strong, quick weapon like a Dragonspine Axe or Warhammer
In general AI is not great at anticipating winding up in advance when using long, slow weapons on horseback in my experience, especially when there's lots of troops about. Giving them something quick gives them less room for error
First of all, thanks for the incredible mod - easily the best I've come across and eagerly await 3.9. Thanks as well to Ralyks for his great work on the Wiki!
The Knightly Orders are a great part of the game, one of my favourite aspects is the rewards that would be very hard to get otherwise -...
