First off the obligatory thanks for all these tweaks, make the game more fun.

I've been searching around and can't seem to find the tweak I'm after, hopefully someone here can help. I've used the listed tweak to increase the bandits spawns from once every 36 hours to once every 24, however this still isn't providing enough neutral weaker NPCs for me to prey on. Theres a lot of Mountain Bandits and sea raiders but still struggle to find any looters.

So my question is, is there a way to increase the frequency of specifically Looters and Forest Bandits spawning? Theres enough Sea Raiders and Mountain Bandits.

I'd rather fight along side my troops. Have gone back to playing it on the easy but fun default settings. Aim of the game is fun so mission accomplished. Maybe if I'm still playing it a few months down the track I might want more of a challenge, I'm still only on week 2 of playing so fun it is.

I don't much fancy being knocked out as soon as a couple of archers break wind in my general direction.

Having been playing last couple of weeks on default and having a lot of fun, today I've tried going up to between 70 and 80% difficulty.. normal damage self/allies, normal battle speed and both average and good AI, its so hard and a lot less fun. I do like to play games at least at normal difficulty but this game is making it very hard. Honestly clueless how people are playing on 100% or more difficulty and surviving.

Yes, you can kill 8 looters, but one slip and you're toast. Suppose thats realism for you...

I got invited to be a Swadian Vassal because of my wrong doer slaying antics. Looks like I best plunder a few Nord villages for denars and head on down to Rhodok country to recruit some spearmen. We're only at war with the Nords so far and they're also fighting against Vaegir so theres no problem there.

Like that screenshot with all the heroes, I shall be fighting with all the heroes as well as a band of infantry/archers/crossbow types.

Just noticed something I need to ask about.

Currently I work with 50% infantry, 50% archers and only my heroes mounted.

How do I go about having unmounted troops only? For example I thought I was going along an infantry route with Vaegir, and the Vaegir Veterans were mounted. I'll of course have a look around Strategy Wiki and stuff for my answers but incase I come up with nothing, hope somebody can shed some light on the development of soldiers.

Thanks for the advice. Oh yes I do know to search and have done so, however a lot of my questions were fairly specific so use of search didn't seem to be that useful. I have been using the FAQs etc as am a seasoned forum veteran just new to this particular game.

I appeared in the lands between Wercheg and Reyvadin so have been singlehandedly teaching Looters a lesson in manners, also took on 10 Sea Raiders in my newb gear who were bullying a group of 10 Vaegir Farmers, took more hits than I'd like in all honesty but still won the day with a tiny sliver of health. Am up to level 6 now but haven't spent any points at all as I was waiting on advice from you kind folks before investing in stats/skills. I'm 400 denars poorer but have Lezalit in my team and we swiftly dealt with some unruly looters out on the Vaegir Plains. Huzzah! :p

Am looking forward to putting your suggestions into practice, once again thanks for going to the trouble of helping me, am sure noob posts get a bit tiresome for the regulars here.
