  1. Did 1.011 fix the Food Morale Bug?

    Is the Food Morale Bug fixed in 1.011, or do I have to apply TML's fix to scripts.txt? I found a similar instance of his code, but it is under game_start -1 though this could just be a coincidence of numbers.

    Why, Armagan, why? I get an indescribable incomplete feeling when I win a battle and witness that Sword Sisters have no victory sounds. I downloaded female sounds from the repository and found some good 'yay' sounds ( a few good sounds among a rather large horde of abject porn sounds and orgasm...
  3. Couched Lance + Shield

    Well those two are new to me. I guess you can yoink those yields off your companions now. As for the disobedient Sword Sisters, just use them to garrison large towns for free.
  4. Concerning Max Units Battlefield Size

    The battlesizer can also bring your comp to its knees if set too high. 200 for me.
  5. Generals.

    After the Faction Eliminated Screen, any Lords that like you will join up with your faction. However, how does one defeat a faction without imprisoning Lords and losing relation with them? Perhaps defeated Lords should disappear from the entire map for a period of four days before respawning at the faction capitol.
  6. which melee weapon are you using now?

    Masterwork Bastard Sword, since I found out that some shields can have your banner logo on it.
  7. raise 5 khergit lances

    Quests like these are better to do when you are at a mid-high level, and best if you and several companions have training skills.
  8. Why can't Lords be killed?

  9. Heroes

    If one of your heroes has, say, +10 pathfinding and you have +8 pathfinding, you will produce a bonus of +3 pathfinding for a party total of +13 pathfinding. +14 is the max. You can do this for any party skill.

    Don't do this for surgery, though, because it will ruin your game and you will wish you could erase it.

    Also, it's fun to get heroes and deck them out any way you please. I have an all women party wearing white coats.
  10. v1.003. Is it good...or...

    We still need another patch to fix the Dhirim Seige Bug and the Food Morale Bug, etc.

    And we are now angsty for the Module System to translate old mods and make new ones.
  11. Battlefield "invisible walls"

    If battles were your way then every player would turn around, go off the map, reappear on the other side, and catch the enemy in the rear flank. The title of the game would have to change to Mount & Blade Zone.

    Then they could put Power Pills on all four corners of the field.

    What's the problem? I'm using the HD 3870 on with XP drivers from before 1.003 and everything is fine.
  14. Is money an issue at high levels/ end game? (possible spoilers)

    Cavalry costs and Mercenary costs are the bank-killers. Recruit from your faction villages and train them yourself. Capture as many Lords as possible so that you can ransom. Leave one man to garrison your castles, leaving it open as an enemy magnet so you can catch more Lords. Get yourself a large town asap.

    I did myself a favor and used theMageLord's tweaks to increase my prisoner capacity and bump slave prices up to 90.

    It's all in the difficulty settings, specifically, how much damage your troops recieve. At 1/4 damage, those Khergits and Nords are not doing much to you yet. The difference between troops will be more clear at 3/4 damage. At full damage you will not like fighting Nord Huscarls and will be trampled to death by Khergit Horsemen, especially if you set the horse_charge_damage to 4.

    Even at easiest settings I recommend that you set AI to good, as it will make your men fight better.
