And the funny thing is that I don't know if this feature was allways threre or if it was introduced in the latest patch, but now, when I talked to the ransom broker guy, there is an option to ransom my inprisoned companions! And for my surprise, I was able to ransom the ones that disappeared from the game, and they all came back to my party!!!
Had the same problem, gotta try this one. Thanks
