Yes, we need this! It boggles my mind how they didn't improve the custom battle mode more. If you want more map choices and want to play alone, you have to host a multiplayer server, which is just weird.

Why is the custom battle mode so crappy and lacking a lot of options?

Oh yeah, I didn't even think of trying with Xfire. Going to do that right nao!!

It worked fine from version 0.XXX -> 1.003. Now it doesn't anymore.
I'm not going to change any settings, when it should work fine just he way it is now, but it doesn't for some reason.

Like every huge sandboxy game, after a while of playing you notice how empty, boring, and predictable the world really is. Also the story wasn't interesting enough for me. Gotta have a good story! M&B is an exception.

Whoa! Mount & Blade has received over 600 votes in under 4 days, that's pretty good. When I made my last post it was behind PES.

Can someone explain to me how editing files to max out everything is "fun"?  Why play the game at all?  This is my biggest question about many PC gamers.  Most of them think nothing of removing challenge from a game simply because they can.  All I can say is I can't wait to meet you guys in multiplayer...

It's a lot of fun I can tell you that! You're post is pretty stupid if I'm completely honest.
I never cheat in multiplayer games. I've been playing this game for months, and now finally decided I want to have some fun cheating my ass off. OH YEAH!

Gimme a break! You shouldn't care about what other people do in their singleplayer games.
It adds some more fun and replay value to this already amazing game.

EDIT: I'm guessing you have never used a trainer in a GTA game? You wouldn't be typing messages like that if you would've. That is what maximum fun is!
