    I just played the game for like 2.5 hours... started a new one... with a new female character... I bought a balanced great sword for my self and a standard great sword to give to my companion Matheld... However in a random battle I got the achievement... never even got to give her the sword. Strange glitch.

    I am trying to get my steam tickets and only have a few hours left to do it :( I keep giving my male companion a Great Sword as a female and nothing happens... no achievement... no tickets... What am I doing wrong?

    I was just saying, probably with a good long gun (hand crafted, etc) you could probably kill all the rieters and heavily armored units with one hit.

    Depends on where the Hussar is shot.

    The Hussar armor is kinda weird, it's like it have "weak spots".

    Edit: Maybe it has something to do with Heavy Bullets (+5 damage) and a 250+ fire arms skill.

    Not just the legs, obviously, but some places in the torso.

    There are no weak spots. There is the head, torso and legs. Hands and arms are included in the torso. M&B/Warband engine has nothing in the way of 'weak spots'.

    Yeah, Swedish Reiters and just Reiters/Black Reiters can take three pistol shots in the chest. Tough buggers - they have high Ironskin, and most importantly, the best armour in the game. Swedish swordsmen are the next closest. Other well-armoured troops can take only two. With longarm muskets, it would take two shots to 'do in' a Reiter, but you could probably get lucky often enough with one.

    I ALWAYS kill rieters and hussars, swedish swordsmen, etc. with two shots from my double dutch pistol, sometimes even one shot!

    No, but Rieters and Hussars and Cavalry are not knights.

    ways to obtain a castle

    Step one - find a lightly garrisoned castle

    Step two - poison the water supply (never works)

    Step three - FIGHT YOUR WAY OUT

    You kill about 5-10 men, which takes 5-10 men away from their garrison

    After you get them down to a reasonable level, build some ladders.

    Try to run to the top of the ladder before your men and throw bombs into the BAD GUYS :grin:

    Then GTFO and stay behind your men, take cheap shots at strong enemy units until you run out of bullets, then pick up a pole axe off the ground (or more bullets)

    When your troops are garrisoned they receive half wages.

    The price of your weekly wages includes garrisoned troops.

    [Multiplayer] battle 1vs1 with 50-100 bots

    Yes it would be fun to play siege mode like it is in single player where a friend could play as an enemy lord, or even a friendly lord.

    Be very epic to have say a 1000 battle size and fight in those huge sieges found in single player with like 10 enemy lords vs like4 friendly lords and the entire castle garrison.
