Yeah, me too.
I'm having an idea for a faction... it be spurting up now.
The Free Alliance
Basic concept: There are thousands of Warriors, foreign or Calradian in origin, who are constantly vying for power.
Maybe it's time the Outlaws, cut-throats, mercenaries, Masterless Warlords, and maybe even you, to team up and try and crush each of the Calradian kingdoms. Who(or what) could unite them? A common purpose, however divided the attempt.
Once they bring together their nearly inexhaustible forces drawn from every corner of the continent, the Calrad Kingdoms, divided and weak, would be crushed. But what happens if, and/or when that happens? What will you do?
It will simply be anarchy. The entirety of Calradia will be divided again, under new, and possibly more sinister rulers.
Of course, all this will depend upon you. Yes, you.
Whether they are simply crushed before they can muster any strength, or if you choose instead to go about proving yourself powerful enough, and leading them, is for you to decide.

This would make for an interesting game indeed. You could become a bandit chieftain, or even a king, and fight the Calradians like that, or when you become king of all Calradia, through the generally accepted means of joining a faction, gaining strength, and rebelling, they might come up and give you the greatest possible challenge: Defeating yourself.
A new opponent would arise against the united calradians, made of the calradians, by the calradians, for the sake of Calradia. I suggest in this case, a new 'player character' spawns on the map and grows powerful as rapidly or more than you yourself did. Eventually they will champion one of your lords, or themself, as the rightful king/queen, then try to take your throne.(This would all just extend the game's single-player experience and lifetime.)
Troops would be just what has been said; mercs, bandits, deserters, and anything in between.
