Are there any way to change that so that I can recruit even though I am not a member/merc for a faction  ?

Kinda annoying that I can have up to 80 in my party but can't recruit past 20

Would be a lot harder for modders to make mods to the game then ?

Not 100% sure, but I think that if you kick/refuse a lord and you have his family (brother/farther) as lords for you, they might get angry with you

Does the gloves give any armour for the officers or are they purely cosmetic ?

When I join a server I gets spammed with the message "You have advanced to level 1,2,3,4,5....,24"
Not a huge bug, but a little annoying :p

By that I mean, more than 1 siege latter / tower !
2 Siege towers or 2/3 siege latters would be most appriciated.

I spend 20min beneath a latter last night because I could not get up the 1 there :8

This might just be me, but I have always wanted the map to show the borders!
Maybe a line colored in the factions color.

A line between Nord and Vaegir would be blue on the 1 side and grey on the other, not much so that it destroy the mood, but enough to show where the border is :p

And then we could have border patrols on the border, like the Town patrole.

I have found it a little to easy to just walk into an enemy kingdom, and a border + border patrole would be nice and make sense

Caravans and villagers are what makes your city and villages rich!
Making sure your caravans aren't being raided by your enemies is everything !

A unfortunate problem in single player is that you can't really do anything about the AI lords on your team hating each other.
I play Nord most of the time and it nearly always end up with them all hating each other, or at least hating the Marshall :p

Would have been nice if there was some quests or other options that could help the lords of your faction be friends

England had a king at the time so they probably would yell For the King.
and I am not so sure that England stood for freedom at the time, not that Napoleon did either :p

Have to agree..
I am from Denmark and therefore I want Denmark to be available, but Russia and Austria played a much larger role in the Napoleon wars.
True France needs some sort of ally at some point, but Denmark was mostly there for the naval combat and that ain't in the game as of yet!

I don't really know why I love this game so much...

I could go on and on about the unbalance, bugs, missing features, stupid AI and other stuff that annoy me, but in the end I STILL love this game!!
I love the role play elements, the combat system, the big world and all it entails, LOVE the big army combat where you are just 1 out of many and its multi play!
Also love the mods, been playing Mount & Muskets lately and love it
