    It wasn't full price, and it was the base game plus all the DLC with the added expansion.

    It's like when you are playing a pagan and you get the missionary in your lands event, the AI gets it and then just seems to make a random decision about letting the missionary spread your religion or not. I think the learning of your court chaplain does affect the chance.

    I feel like I remember reading in the Ultramarines  series that some ship captain was proud of the fact that his main gun could be reloaded in 30 minutes, so that suggests some long battles.

    Just kill muslim rulers until they start having succession wars. Also try sending extra gold to the HRE in an attempt to get them stronger so they can fight back against the muslims, but in the long run they may be trouble for you again.
