What is the point of having fun individually when people insist in making their own rules when they do not own the server which they play on. What is the point of playing just because everyone won't play how the majority wants to, you do not get kicking or banning spam just for not cooperating with other teammates in a fight in other online games e.g CoD4, Battlefield. I shall just say this, when a server is not yours do not even with the support of others justificate your laws or rules upon others if it is not your server or if they are playing by the games intended mechanics and goals. Many servers in CoD4/ Battlefield 2 became popular without votes. But if the game's genre will not allow just play for all who want to play the game their style? Then this game will not be very sucessful, either it is the fault of the servers or the fault of the games genre but all I can say is that online play has mixed support from me.

I totally agree with your thinking...that's why i'm trying to  create Battlegrounds.Eu
It will be a neutral server, not affiliated to any clan, good for both solo players and people coming from clan.
We offer a server and a teamspeak voice server, encouraging teamplay with your comrades.

For those of you who didn't know, there's a Mount&Blade IRC channel. It's run by Maolvar and frequented by various people including myself, Lost-Lamb and Winter. The channel is on quakenet and it's called, surprisingly enough, #mount&blade. Feel free to come over and shoot your yap, but there's a few things that you should remember.

1. The channel is unofficial. That means we can do whatever the hell we like, including being mean to you if you annoy us.
2. IRC is not the forums. Things work differently over there, live with it.
3. You are inferior.
