Of course the game will be boring for people who lack a bit of imagination. It seems that people tend to be "lazy" and "expect" to be walked through the RPG! world.
For me it's all about using what I've got to the fullest (and I didnt even install any mods).
Wanna kill the game? Watch a couple of streamers killing all the lords around just to make sure they won't disturb you while sieging a fief.
This game can be like good old championship manager which could be played for years.
For me it's still playable as I am still trying to take over the whole map but with as little help from other clans as possible. It will be more difficult since they limited women's fertility in recent patch, so I won't be able to get more parties to patrol around all castles and villages.
There's much to do in this game apart the "visible" content.

it seems that similar situation is during selling action in towns as i don't get so much experience there if you compare it to selling in a rich village (where prices of goods are not affected).
so it could be that if I start selling goods with a mark up of 150% but the last item is worth only 25% all of them will be counted as if they were worth 25%?
selling at villages can give me even couple of thousands of trade xp even above 200level (if of course i do it with items bought during one sitting :/ (sic!)) and for some time i do not sell in towns anymore because of that.

ok, i'm dumb...today it's not working like that anymore... :/ you meant that you can only trade goods that you've bought during one game "sitting"? if you load a previous save where you had loads of stuff to sell it won't give you any exp, right?

It looks like you won't get any xp points for traiding skill if your only action is "selling". Try buying something for cheap (even one unit of grain would do the trick) and then sell whatever you need to sell. I've just tested it with 1.2 version. Seems that combining buying and selling does the trick as it's considered "true" transaction.

Had the same! Once I killed all of the nobles from Northern Empire this "stuck" lord became an Emperor and I couldn't wipe out the empire because of that one guy.
