Its the top tier troops that return from battle overwrite instead of add to your troops. So if you only have 3 top tier you do not lose any troops. Good work around

You had 39 Sharpshooters. 1 joined the fight, and when he returned from the fight his head was so big he wiped the other 38 Sharpshooters off the game! Now only he remains. It is a simple code error where the troop returns and overwrites rather than adds to your troops.

Same issue, No mods, New Save (30 days in), No cheats. 1.6.0

Before quest = 17 Infantryman

Battle screen = 3 Infantryman participated in fight (all survived)

After Quest complete = Only 3 Infantryman in party

The quest is using a small part of my army for the quest 3 out of 17 infantryman, the rest are looters under the battle screen. Then after the fight only the 3 infantrymen used in the fight remain. The over 14 infantrymen who did not fight are wiped.

I loaded my last save which was not corrupted.

I continued following my footsteps from before.

1. Completed RIVAL GANGS , saved as test/ load SUCCESS
2. Completed PRISONERS FOR MINE , saved as test 1 / load SUCCESS
3. Started WEAPONS FOR GANG , saved as test 2 / load FAIL

For my case atleast it was WEAPONS FOR GANGS from Vostrum that corrupted my save.

Not conclusivly.... i have 2 saves which work.

They are both before completing: RIVAL GANGS & PRISONERS FOR MINE
and before starting: WEAPONS FOR GANG & SECOND PRISONERS FOR MINE

I belive just after completing RIVAL GANGS & PRISONERS FOR MINE, i started WEAPONS FOR GANGS. This is when my saves become corrupted.

WEAPONS FOR GANG seems to be to culprit here............

I have the same problem. I am very early on in a new campaign (less than 20 days). I also saved before a tournament and then loaded back in after failing. All my saves are now corrupted and unloadable.

I had just completed: Prisoners for mines & rival gang quests

I had active quests: Weapons for gang (9 axes) & a different prisoners for mines quest.
