IS the save file before the issue happens of after? We would need a save file before the issue happens to reproduce it.
Casual lurker here; been fighting to figure out this bug for the past week or so. Just sent in a lucky auto-save in the middle of a battle which seems to have the bug occur 3/3 times I have tried fighting the rest of the battle.
In my experience:
- The bug appears when you are a member of an army, fighting a field battle with an enemy army.
- The bug seems to appear where the enemy is the 'attacker', and the army you are in is assisting the 'defender' party.
- I have confirmed it applies as a mercenary. Have not tested it as a vassal.
- The exact time you press 'tab' is completely irrelevant. I waited 3 minutes after every enemy had retreated or been wounded/killed, and still experienced the bug.
During the battle, the enemy fights more or less as usual, but usually at least a few of them manage to retreat. When the battle is over, troops cheer and army formations are ordered to hold, but no 'The battle has been won!' banner appears. Upon hitting 'tab', the usual victory screen shows, but the influence/renown banners ominously do not appear.
I uploaded a screenshot of what it looks like via Steam:
Steam Community: Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. Sharing this shot of a bug in 1.5.1-1.5.2; influence/renown banners are missing and upon hitting 'Done', you and the entire army you are in is captured by the enemy.

Ok, this is where things get weird... try auto-resolving instead. Instead you get a Defeat screen with again no influence/renown. HOWEVER, clicking Done to this, you will be thanked by the lord you assisted, and be allowed to capture enemy lords and take items and the aftermath of the battle is as expected... so, maybe two bugs working in tandem?
Best guess is that the game knows who won the battle at a 'low' level, but somewhere gets who exactly is attacker vs. defender and who is winner vs. loser mixed up at a 'high' level when trying to figure out who won at the end.
