The key here is:
The game crashes when you talk to a group of people on the world map(for me, looters), not when you launch the game and create character. First I thought the code with looters have problem, then I go to a town and recruit a hero NPC such as Borcha. Then I try to talk to him on the world map and the game crashed, too.
What interesting is, the combat doesn't cause the crash.
Prove: I saw a group of manhunters fight looters, then I ran into them and decided to help manhunters. The battle field loaded fine, and I killed all looters with manhunters. Even the after the combat, the game loaded a appreciation dialogue of manhunters saying "it's good to have you nearby" something like that, the game worked fine. I closed the appreciation dialogue and then ran into another group of looters myself, the game crashed again with "Kong" sound.
I also did the same test with .89, .96, 1.010, and 1.011, the game will crash if I try to open a dialogue with looters on the world map.
It leads the clue that when player opens a dialogue with other groups on the world map, the game will crash. If the dialogue is triggered by others(like manhunters' appreciation dialogue) the game runs fine.
