I dont have banner tweaks but I did disable all of them and it seems to be fine. How do I know which mods will function properly for the time being and which ones wont?
the list I had active was
1 -attribute per level 2- diplomacy reworked 3- dismemberment 4- improved garrisons 5 - modlib 6 - settlement icons, I also downloaded the thing that was supposed to fix mod crashing at startup

I have the same problem with the same message as the original poster. I have the most recent update I only installed the game yesterday and have reinstalled and recertified the files. My brother just gave me the computer but it is very high end and runs the game at its fullest capacity. Windows 10

I have the exact same problem and I have no idea why and it is frustrating as hell. If you find out anything let me know please
