If you want to cheat, just export your character(under character, and hit statistics in the lower left), go to your documents folder->mount and blade warband characters->and open/edit the text file with your char's name on it. Then simply hit import, and voila.

He simply gives you the crappiest village out there. More often than not I get some looted border village.

Go to program files=>steam->steamapps->common->mount and blade warband->modules

There ya go!

At the end of a successful war , marrying a lady, and sending you companions out to drum up support(I'd like to ask you something->You know a aspire to be king-> then follow the obvious ones) or getting a lord to convert to your faction all give RtR.

I'm sure there are other ways, anyone mind posting those?

Also, random slighty off topic question. Can you get faction leaders to convert to your faction? I want Sanjar in myin

Occasionally she gives me one of those "advance our standings" quests, although they seem to be years apart and the resolve a dispute type have had bug issues where you can't complete them and lose RtR.

They fixed it in 1.105.

At first I thought it was still broken, but rather than hit the "about the task you gave me" button, a new one appears towards the middle, just hit that one.

5- If you have good archers/crossbowman during a siege, get three shields and a weapon(or four, and grab one of a dead guy) and just stand at end of the ladder with your shield up. Blocks them from coming up, and makes great fodder for your archers. Seems kinda cheap though. Recommend only using it when your drastically outnumbered.

Doesn't each team have unique unit/gear layout in troops.txt?

If they do, you could just make it so that each color team has a different, distinct headgear on them. I'l check it out to see if they do.

However, banners above their heads would be much easier to use. Shame they don't have em.

Huh, for me it usually works exactly like yours. The difference being is once all the guards are killed, we leave.

There is one other way you may wish to try. Have your companion follow you, and run out of the city/castle. Go through the gate, keep running, and you'll hit an invisible wall quickly which gives you the option to escape.
