But in all seriousness I also agree that adding a new crossbow for the Ebony Gauntlets would be a good idea. I think it should be faster and more accurate than the arbalest, but slightly less powerful.

The Barclay plate armor along with their great helm should be changed to look like 16th century plate armor. You could use the resources from this mod and then redesign it with the leather since Barclay is known for it's common use if leather armor. You could make a different, weaker, variation for the lancers that would lack the shoulder guard and instead have a neck guard that could be used in combination with a combed morion(a better combed morion than the one used by barclay adventuros of course).

Another feature to add for barclay to make them more unique could be an advanced lance to reflect their technological superiority. It would be longer than and do more damage than the average knight lance.

I feel like the Noldor should have another bow, a noldor long composite bow. The original noldor bow would still be used by noldor hunters, warriors and cavalry, while the noldor long composite bow would be reserved for noldor rangers. It would be much slower than the original, but does more damage and is much more accurate, very accurate. However, you could only use it on foot.

The Noldor need their own greaves. All they have are the enchanted boots for the noldor warriors and rangers(which look brilliant btw) but nothing for the Noldor cav except plain mail boots(gross). This isn't really important too important(I already just used morgh's to give them more fitting attire), but it would really help immersion. And I want some sweet ancient plate boots to go with my noldor ancient plate armor.

Will there be any more Noldor items? Or more specifically, will there be Noldor greaves? Those mail boots that most Noldor cav wears doesn't match. Ooh, how about Noldor Ancient Plate Greaves?

Jokes aside, knights are not suposed to be dicks. I imagine this not breaking inmersion only if the garrisoned knights are eventide, dawn or ebony guantelet.

It could also apply to the Scorpion Assassins, the Windriders, and even the Lions(they're known more for their loyalty to sarleon, not for any virtues).

I have a good idea for a heartbeat quest. If you have a fief with a knight order, there can be a heartbeat quest where the steward tells you that the garrisoned
order knights have been harassing the peasants and you have choice of ignoring the problem(relation with fief deteriorates), compensating the victims with some money, or you can punish the order knights(either your relationship with the order will deteriorate or there will be a small chance that a rogue warband of the said order's knights will spawn nearby).

Oh, and one more thing. A while back people have asked about whether the team planned to give minor factions the ability to capture fiefs, and the answer was that you guys didn't have the time/manpower to do this. Are you still unable to do this?

These factions are fictional with cultural elements mixed into their desgin. They are fine as is and if changes need to happen, they will.

I don't necessarily think Barclay troops should be exactly like the exploration era Spanish troops in real life, but styled to better fit the cultural element they represent. Frankly, the only thing that connects them to Spanish styled troops is the Barclay Conquistador's name. Maybe you could replace the Conquistador's armor with something like this and give the other units something like a breastplate over some fancy renaissance clothing and a combed morion for a helmet. I think that would look pretty cool and wouldn't really destroy the fictional element so long as you didn't make it exactly the same. No offense, but the troops in-game don't really fit their backstory in terms of looks.

It seems that Barclay is supposed to be a combination of medieval knights and 15th century Spanish explorers? It would be a lot more interesting if you made them more like the real life Conquistadors with 15th century armor, rapiers, and maybe even an arquebus or pistol? They have a rather plain look to them, and other than their armor, they really don't seem to have any unique items(except the Barclay Noble sword and maybe another sword?). It would be interesting to see how well Noldor Armor or a Demonic Magnus would do against an arquebus.

Ah I should've known better than to trust those pointy eared bastards . But all jokes aside, is there a script I could change that would enable a noldor patrol (or any other lordless faction friendly to me and hostile to the faction i'm attacking) to join me in battles?

Is there a way to get the Noldor to join you in battle like a friendly lord would? It doesn't really make sense when I have over 40 relations with them and I'm in their forest fighting for my life against a Knights of the Lion war party and Aeldarian is right next to the battle just twiddling his thumbs.

Twilight Knight: Lord Aeldarian, shouldn't we help our friend against those knights? He did help us defeat that huge Jatu army not that long ago.
