Honestly I'm not worried about Balion lands.

I'm more considering a faction that would rely on heavily defensive gameplay to "survive" an attack to one of their strongholds/settlements. As stated, open plains MOTF is a good thing. Force the engagement because the map is a level playing ground. But MOTF on village turns a "Defender" into an "Attacker" by forcing them to compromise a fortified position. In my opinion, an "Attacker" should be forced to
attack and overtake a defender and the defensive provisions he has made...not stall until they must expose themselves in open field melee. At that point you might as well be in an open field and forget the attacker/defender positions as well as the benefits of a settlement.
But we yield to all decisions of the Adjuticator.
