    Just a note, as per my troubleshooting steps i am able to play if i start the game via the exe instead of via steam, did require running as admin (or ticking the box under properties).
    Does it work for you that way? (as a tempory workaround)

    Update 2:

    Starting the game from the steam directory as an administrator works!

    Troubleshooting update:
    - logged back into my work local account, game starts up and im on the main menu.
    - deleted the bannerlord folder under documents, switched back to my main local account, game crashes.

    Something being cached on the other account? as mentioned when i re-installed i did so on my main account.

    Hi, Before the recent hotfix i was able to startup the game and ended up on the main menu, i wen't no further than that.
