  1. New king!

If you want to become king then you have to be playing a mod with the "kingdom leader options" choice in the camp menu.  The best mod for this in my experience is Age of Machinery.  Others would be like Expanded Gameplay III or Europe 1200, but I can confirm that Europe 1200's kingdom creation is severely bugged and I've heard that Expanded Gameplay III is too but I've not hired any lords in that one yet so I can't say for sure.
  2. Don't you guys miss this?

If someone's going to be making a mod like that they should also do something like a decrease in traction over bodies.  Blood is quite slippery after all.
  3. The End of Mount and Blade? (Screenshots)

How can you level that slow?  I usually get to lvl 10 in about an hour.
  4. Fighting Styles

It's about in the middle in difficulty, and I also put a lot of points in athletics.  I play 1.011 and I do get semi-swarmed, but I back up while hacking so that their own guys block their archers.  Usually it's just running around the tower, and a shield on the back helps against archers.  Also, I never use ctrl+h past level 10, which is way too early to be doing professional battles focused on my fighting ability.  But thanks for having faith in me, after all it's not like I'm good at the game or anything.
  5. 50 things you must do when playing Vageirs

    27.  Get bored with horsemen, make a corps of archers.  Pew pew pew.
  6. 50 things you must do when playing the Khergits

    48.  Produce more innumerable bastards.
  7. Fighting Styles

Powerful bow and 2h.  This allows me to rule in 3 ways (field battles obvious).  1)  Jump off wall and kill enemies pushing siege tower.  It rarely gets to my walls.  This must be done with quick and constant movement that 1h doesn't allow because it takes too long to kill someone.  2)  Assault castle, hold this position, shoot archers in the head, run out of arrows, leave, repeat.  3)  Lead elite troops onto a wall and kill hundreds myself and lose only 3-8 (~20 wounded) (my current kill record is 345 in one battle, I think there was a glitch in enemy troop flow not ending).
  8. H. Blades vs Huscarls

While numerically the Huscarls are better, I've notice that Hired Blades just plain don't die for some reason.  I've actually finished a campaign with Hired Blades I got around day 9.  I even always put my mercenaries at the top of the fighting que so they have more chance to die.
  9. Weapons for companions

It's up to you.  2h gives them more lethality and levels them faster, but they are VERY likely to go down early-mid game.  If you need them to be alive and functioning like the doctor of the party then give him 1h and shield unless you're willing to suffer some extra loss to lvl them.
  10. Crafting?

The closest you can get is having a store in Warband.  Those materials are for being a merchant and selling them between towns.
  11. Rolf bug maybe?

If on the battle menu where you can charge, order attack, pull back, or leave, the last 2 will mean leaving battle.  One way to figure it out is to look back at recent messages after this happens and if it doesn't say "Rolf looks upset" then I'd say it's a bug.
  12. Food storage?

Stocking up is the real only way, and inventory management is a leader skill (at least it is in 1.011).
  13. How do I download and install a mod?

I wish I knew that a year ago when I first started using mods, I had to figure it out by myself... 3 hours before I could play the first mod.
  14. How do I download and install a mod?

First you find it on a safe site such as M&B repository.  If you're concerned if the site is safe or not ask this forum and get updated anti-virus software (of course only one at a time on a computer).  There are several ways that it downloads.  The magically easy way is when it allows you to save it right to the modules folder.  The most often for me is giving me a complex file such as RAR; you will need to extract all files to the modules folder.  Sometimes you get just a plain folder in the downloads folder; for this just open up the two and do the old fashioned drag and drop.  If you're lucky, certain mod folders are actually install packs, and they will do everything for you.  I have not had any other way of getting mods, so I hope that is all.  If you're wondering where the modules folder is, it's under "my computer," "local disk C," "program files," then "Mount&Blade" and it should be right there.  Make sure that the mod folders are inside their own folder that they came in, inside the modules folder.
