I think that the native module would be much better if you can become a king of a faction.
You know, name a faction, have lords under your command and that sort of things.
Reply if you think the idea is good
Okay, here is how you add kingdom management to Native: (I wrote this for some other fellow in a PM and thought you could use it too.)
You will need the module system for this, but adding it isn't too hard.
Download the module system, (you can find it by following the second link in my sig) and then unzip it and move it into your modules folder like a normal mod. Leave that for now, then go download Highlander's AoM mod. Instead of unzipping the file and putting it in your modules folder, just open up the file that you see. Near the top, you should see a folder also titled "module system". Double click that. Now, scroll down until you find the file named "module_game_menus". Right click and select "View File".
Now that we've done that, go back to your modules folder and open up your new module system. Scroll down again until you find "module_game_menus". Right click and hit: "Edit with IDLE".
Go back to the game_menus folder that you opened from the AoM module system, (the letters and numbers should all be black, but in YOUR module system some of them should be red, green or orange. (possibly some other colors too.) Now, press Ctrl+F to bring up the "search" prompt, then type in: "own_kingdom". Notice the lines above where you are now. See what they say. Go back to YOUR module_game_menus folder and try and find that same spot. (although it'll be missing everything after "#own_kingdom_start") then, go back to AoM's game_menus, and select from "#own_kingdom_start------------" to the line: "own_kingdom_end-------------". Press Ctrl+C to copy it, then go back to YOUR module_game_menus and paste it where it is in Highlander's game_menus.
Search two or three more times to make sure there isn't any more code, then save the game_menus and close them.
Do the same thing as above again, only this time go to:
module_scripts (there's lots here, be warned)
module_strings
and module_troops. Once you're done, double click "build_module" and see if it works. If not, just tell me what the error says. If it does work, then have a fun time playing M&B with kingdom management.
