Cavalry auto-resolve bonus should be reduced in forests, villages, marshes, mountains and sieges

Tactics perks dont work at the moment, so khuzaits dominating might be because they are good units.

Sleepy ramblings of a Vlandian horse lord.

1 month after release 0 content change my mind

Just take it easy, it is the first month of the EA year. By the end of the year we will continue this thread but for now it is pointless as their focus is in stability and optimization.

    Please adjust respawn mechanics

There are only 3 cheats currently :
-npc lords are spawning with 25% of their part size is filled (this will decrease to 10% soon)
-npc lords get extra small amount of xp to troops daily (starting with 1.3.0) to allow them have more elite troops otherwise they have 50% tier-1 troops
-npc lords know your garrison sizes at your distant towns

    There are no other cheats.

Could i ask why? There was no need for these 3 cheats.
1º- If we used viking conquest recruitment system then lords shouldnt be able to replenish their troops outside their fiefs, thus stopping snowballing so the 25/10% free spawn shouldnt be needed.

2º- Reduce ai aggro and make them chase bandits in their lands instead boosting them like that. Clans can form many parties so in war time they sould left a minor noble of their clan chasing bandits.

3º- In warband there were scouting missions when you were called into a war, lets bring them back so the way to discover how much a castle or a town is garrisoned.

    Merry Men

So the ultimate perk of the rougue tree is to enlist outlaws instead of killing them. Roleplay wise it should be one of the first perks you should access as a bandit.

How do you feel about a low skill wife?

Honestly I think we should be able to pick whomever we like, be it a noble, wanderer or a peasant for a spouse.
Although ideally, if you're not looking for a warrior princess, you'd want someone with high Steward or Trader skills maybe (to let them manage your estate later on)? Although I'm not entirely sure someone like that exists that can be married.

    +1

There are so many armies that are only level 1 and 2 recruits pls fix!!

    My 2 cents:
    - Lords are using low tier units because they are constantly fighting thus the leveling of their troops cant keep up with the veteran deaths, so they are permanent stuck with level 1-2-3 troops.
    - Sieges deal huge blows to all parties, not only in siege they lose twice or more troops than the defenders due to the previous point, but also they are forced to leave some of their troops as garrisons.
    - And finally they lose too many soldiers due to lack of food, over limit and low morale.

    To fix this AI should:
    - Have a minimun truce of 1 year or/and fight and raise armies in summer using winter to level their troops.
    - Instead of donating troops, a portion of the army should stay garrisoned until a new owner has been decided (Also healing the wounded)
    - Teach the AI to no go over the party limit (that is a risk tactic meant for players) have always a sort of 3 food type that can last for 10 days and replenish them when there is 1 day worth of food.

At least as a basic fix it should work.

    Barter Bug

Well have you notice that when you propose something to a noble, you can gift them nothing? Why does this matters? Because you get levels in charm by saying "Hey i will give you nothing" Which if you think about it is hilarious.

[Question] Peasants and prisoners - where did they go?

It seems that lords store their prisioners in the nearest castle/city i guess they are donating them unless its their own fief. It is a wise move from lords to do this as it increases their party speed and dont give the chance to refill the enemies ranks.

Bandits do the same with peasants, they sell them in their camps.

Currently there is only 1 way to recruit them and that is to defeat a party that has not reach a castle/town/bandit camp.

    The focus of this game

Mount and Blade: Bannelord is a sandbox experience which means the playstyle, the roleplay and the goals are mostly set by the player. However it doesnt matter if you plan to play as a cunning lord of the empire, a ruthless warrior of sturgia or a skilled merchant of asherai there should be a...

My experience with the Smithing system.

Well smithing is an interesting feature but it is not well implemented.
    1) Grinding this skill is really painful.
    2) It messes with the economy of the game due to how bad the economy is designed.
    3) It is only for weapons and not for amors or at least i can find the armors at the moment.

Fixing this is tricky, i personally would:
    1) Remove stamina (You already have the limits of money and materials)
2º) Value of weapons and armors should decrease considerably, after all its not like it matters in sp.
3º) Let me craft armors, shields, weapons and horse armors.

How do troops level up in the garrison?

Do the other two die in training then?

    :xf-grin:

Nah im dumb and i cant count thats why i killed the other 2 recruits .
Jokes aside, i do find annoying the autoleveling without my consent if i want those recruits to follow certain path or to stay at certain level they should.

How do troops level up in the garrison?

Castles have a stash? Much as I wish they did I've never been able to find one. I thought only Towns had a stash.

Mods are a wonderful world my friend.

Damage in this game is Ridiculous

Stones? fight steppe bandits they use broad head javelins that deal 80 BASE dmg!!!! When they are riding they can deal with easy 100++ dmg i know because one of those fkcrs oneshot me with a 40 armor (helmet included)!

Damage as far i am concerned it is calculated like this:
Base dmg type * Skill related mod * Speed Mod - Armor so in the broad head javelin situation
    80 * 1.2 (20 skill) * Y - 40 =>100
which mean that the speed mod only needs to be 1.4 to instakill with a broad head javeling OR
    80 *X * 1 (Still) - 40 => 100
which mean you need a 1.75 bonus in your skill mods to instakill which is pretty easy to do considering that certain perks add dmg, so if you pick the herd the sheep backstory you can just instakill every single unit at game start with a broad head javelin unless they cover with a shield. Thats one of the reasons that imperial infantry troops are so deadly if they launch a flurry of their javelins they get a ton of kills.
