  5. Equipment doesn't show up [Morgh's]

    You have probably also assigned multiple items to the troop, so that there is a random chance that the troop only equips a two-handed weapon and due to that not a shield. I tried to describe the selection process here:

    Be aware though that I might have still made a misstake at reading and interpretating the code.

    You need to make sure that you have also checked the appropriate troop flags (tf_guarantee_shield for example), otherwise the weapon selection is semi-random.
    Yeah, I've checked that at the beginning, as I've said, everything is done properly.
    I've also edited the inventories to match exactly 4 items to no positive yield
    I have a theory that it is a purely Two-handed weapon bug.
    The bug appears only on Cavalry and Infantry troops and Archers are not affected. So my initial thought of the inventory problem falls off(+ it is tested on a troop with quite stuffed inventory, but without a Two-hander).
    So I guess it is the answer, because I remember even with Litdum's original troops there were guys with such issues(especially Vaegirs).

  8. Lords not giving quests like meet a spy or hunt down elite rebel anymore?

    Actually I've been playing Native Expansion mod.
    Lords tend to give you more "grand" quests once you get high renown and hold numerous rich fiefs. So some of the quest such as deliver a letter or meet a spy fall off naturaly, but I think they might pop up once in a blue moon, though.

    In my own experience I had it once. My relationship w/ King Harlaus droped like 10-15 points and said he should indicate me for treason, but he let it slide the first time.
    So I guess you get a warning first and a punishment later or it might depend on your relationship with the liege so you can abuse other factions until you reach the negative points with a king.

  10. I want my money back. Seriously.

    Who do I talk to about getting my money back? This game is fun – up until the moment your save is corrupted and you lose hours of progress. I've started over multiple times, I tried the workaround and only saved manually. It still crashed. And this isn't news to TaleWorlds, there's multiple threads and even articles detailing the corrupt save issue. But please, Bannerlord has been in early access for two years, it's to be expected that on full release such major issues have been worked out. Instead, I paid full price for an early access game (because let's face it: that's what it still is! missing audio, broken economics when ransoming named prisoners, getting stuck in walls, CORRUPTED SAVES) and it won't let me progress beyond the point where I might be ready to start my own kingdom. I did not pay around 60 USD (bought in my (expensive) country) to get scammed or to act as this company's guinea pig. Shame on you for your obviously unfinished game, TaleWorlds. Give me my money back!
    Y'know the obvious thing you should do is always backup your saves. I've been practicing this for years now and I have a habit of manually saving once in a while. On my current Warband playthrough I have 3 backups(including the og saves), just in case.
  11. Crossbowmen have Quivers instead of Bolts

    Add your item at the bottom of the item list, not in the middle, and assign it to a troop. If you add it in between, it might cause disorder at some internal constants and perhaps the error you encountered.     I always added it to the bottom, right before "item_end", but I can recall on one of my attempts the item appeared somewhere in the middle.
    During my latest playthrough with Halberd being the last item, I had changed Swadian troop tree, stats and equipment completely, touched Rhodoks just a bit and the both side had the same issue. I also triple checked in the editor, troops.txt and in the game itself and they all had bolts.
    After non-clean reinstall I didn't change anything at all and the issue still existed.
    Now I have changed Swadian troops, gear and stats entirely, somewhat tinkered Nords and left Rhodoks be. Multiple tests appeared bugless.

    I assume that you are using Morgh's Editor to add new items, is that correct? Ot did you work with plain txt. files entries?
    I mostly followed this tutorial, but I had to manually add the weapon entry in "item_kinds1.txt" + Import and assign Materials and Textures. Right after, however I went to Morgh's which corrected the total number of items and renamed the item.
    I honestly cannot really remember the exact order of things, but I tried numerous combinations with and without the editor. In the end the item appeared fine and I thought everything had worked out, but later I stumbled upon the bug.

    Well, I've settled to give my Pikemen Glaives, but I'd like to know what is the problem that caused the bug so I can prevent it in the future. I've searched the net and couldn't find anything relatable.
    Plus it is really frustrating learning all the stuff just to find out it I can't to anything with it.

    Did you try to swap an item or did you try to add an item?
    Add. I copied all the necessary files and created new entries.
    And I also had to delete all of the game files in registry and use CCleaner in order to make the game run duly again. However, I haven't touched anything but troop trees and some troop stats now.
