    I think lack of information is the bane of a lot of this game. I feel like a lot of relation loss is also hidden, or atleast not communicated clearly enough. I found out that my list of enemies was 10 times longer than my list of friends, and many of the people on that list were lords I'd shared a faction with most of the game.

    Warband had major issues with telling the player what was going on aswell (right to rule anyone?)So I'm honestly skeptical at TW's ability or willingness to make clear and understandable game mechanics :/

    No it's not, I just reread my post and it should've been worded better I can see why you thought I was disagreeing with you, my bad apologies for that, English isn't my first language.

    And you got that right,I had no idea how the levelling system worked in my first playthrough, so I wasn't using the learning points properly and I was making it even harder for myself to level up. The game doesn't give you much to go on.

    Let's say we keep the 3 candidates system.. I should be able to highlight each clan and have the game tell me why they were selected for vote lets say "Relations with ruler -15, no fiefs +50", Bribes +30" so I can understand the process behind it and work towards improving my odds.

    In that kind of clearly understandable mechanic, I'd also expect the lord leading the conquring army to gain a significant boost fx, but not insure his normation if the ruler hates for or something.

    Oh I know I was agreeing with you, probably should've worded it better. Like someone else said there should be better insight on your influence and what it gives you. So if you're going to take a castle what are the chances you're going to get that castle? Right now it's random, it needs more work but I'm sure they'll get around to it, they've said they have big plans for the Kingdom Management area.

    Attribute Per Level

    Allows you to gain an attribute point per level.

    I would recommend this, gives you an attribute per level. I know again, too late, but it could be useful if you want to start again any time soon, my advice is look on the Nexus for a bit, some really handy mods right now to enhance and fix gameplay, they'll help until the game is patched and updated properly.

    But that's the thing though, if you don't like it then you should go your own way and build your own Kingdom. With higher influence and clan tier you will get more rewards, you're going to get more fiefs and have more say, but a whoever wins it gets it rule would just make it really unbalanced I think, by the time you know it the player will probably have more fiefs than the King because assembling armies is pretty easy.

    At the end of the day it's other lords troops that are also in your army, even if you're commanding it. I'm assuming that's the case, because I can amass a party of 200 troops and I can't take a castle on my own, their archers absolutely do you to pieces. For me anyway, I need at least double the men the defenders have when I'm taking a keep.

    Oh crap I forgot about the barracks, yeah I've also got that maxed out, well every building maxed out, and I've not seen any of the soldiers level up. I've even tried switching them to my party to see if they've gained xp and I can't see any difference. I must admit I'm not taking full notice or writing it down but I think I would've seen a difference. I've left plenty of lower level soldiers in the castle for a year or two and they're still the same level.

    I don't like how I have to level or wait in game time to get advanced equipment.

    I think there should be the choice to wear any armour you can, but without the necessary stats, it's pretty much useless. For example, buying full plate with a poor athletic skill or high enough level and you're going to be really slow and do less damage. I think that would be the better option as of now. You should be rewarded for earning a lot of cash, but at the same time you should also need the experience and skill to actually make the best of top tier equipment.

    I honestly think the majority of these perks don't work, I've heard people say they're not even implemented yet. Some certainly work but most of them don't seem to have any effect.

    Do troops level up when left in Garrison?

    There are perks that say otherwise, but I've never seen any troops level up in my garrison and I've left them there for months on end. I don't think a lot of these perks work currently.

    Considering Getting the Game, but have Some Questions

    Game is really good still but I'm currently waiting for more updates before I start a new campaign. Right now the game has a few issues, the biggest is currently snowballing, after a few years it's likely a faction already rules the whole map or at least half of it. But there are some mods on the nexus that assist with that and seem to help the issue. So as for your question about owning the entire map, I've yet to see a poster on here who's in that position if I'm being honest. But I've heard rebellions are possible, however, there are more updates that are supposed to come out eventually in EA that will go into further depth with Kingdom Management, at the moment it's pretty basic.

    But honestly if you want some time to kill I would consider buying it, I've got about 56 hours of gameplay since it came out, I've enjoyed it.

    How long ago in your game did you complete the quest "Assemble the dragon banner" ? Because you can use the mod any time in your game as long as it's not after that quest. But assuming you're 20 years into the game I imagine you're years into it, which sucks.

    This is why I'm not playing the game until it gets new big updates, right now it's pointless investing any time into your playthroughs unless you're okay with scrapping it up and starting again and again.

    Yep fully agree, right now I think the influence system is great, it makes perfect sense. You're a vassal, you're not a king, not sure why people aren't understanding it. I assembled a big army and took a castle from the Aserai b as a Vassal to King Derthert of Vlandia on my first playthrough, easily the most enjoyable and best moment of the game for me so far. But the castle went straight to him and I knew that was going to happen, I already had a castle, and realistically it would make sense that the king gets the most say and has the largest piece of the pie.

    A lot of fix, but where is the stuff for 40 dollars we pay?

    I'll admit I'm disappointed in how featureless the game is right now, it seems there's a lot of content missing and the snowballing issue is highly frustrating, campaigns right now are just pointless. But having said that, this is Early Access, I knew what I was paying for and the devs are working hard fixing bugs, every day they've brought out a patch and they're fixing stuff, I have to credit them for that.

    For me bugs haven't been too much of an issue, it's more of the gameplay and AI that needs implementing and fixing so far. But a lot of people have been really struggling with bugs, so they're prioritising that first and I think that's fair enough.

    My thoughts on the Faction Snowball effect. Campaigns should go on forever!

World domination should be practically impossible on a consistent basis. Maybe you could conquer the entire map, but factions would keep coming back, new factions would form, rebellions would take place. Actually conquering the world should be a titanic task.

    This. It's like there's no such thing as peacetime in the game, when I was a vassal for Vlandia all we did was war, once the war with the Sturgians finished, we opted straight into war with the Aesarei... And we were considered the most peaceful faction in the game since every other faction was at war with numerous factions at the same time.

    The empire being at war with each other makes sense, but the other factions should chill out a bit.

    Which leveling system do you prefer Warband or Bannerlord?

    Fully agree with this, the game at the moment is very grindy and the tutorial on how the skill and level system works is non-existent, I really had no idea how it all worked so I was grinding ULTRA hard without using my focus points so as you can imagine it took wayyy longer for me to level up.

    I'm kinda bummed that most of the perks don't work yet, really makes it all seem pointless at the moment. And snowballing is still a massive issue.
