at this point someone should start considering:
|-> start learning game development -> start developing a game similar to bannerlord -> see if you can do it faster (and if possible better) -> ??? -> profit
Bonus points if you do it alone.
Extra bonus points if it comes out before bannerlord.
You get godlike if it is better than bannerlord.

it's not so easy to make a realistic game, bannerlord it's taking a step forward, maybe in 20 years we will have a VR game where you can punch hens and lick the stone wall...
it's as great as it can be right now...
you people want everything with no idea how hard is to make it, a simple "go to sleep" AI function takes hours to create and debug... then when you add variables like thirst and piss and whatever the work gets longer...
of course it's just one ladder, there are 150 max NPC on the map, what will you do with 100 ladders? slow down loading time and decrease fun in gameplay... they did their best at that time and now they made it so there is a ram, ladder, and a siege tower in the same battle, HAPPY?

what if they got used to developing the game and don't want to finish it... maybe it became their lifestyle ) the reason to wake up in the morning... and if they finish it, they will die a little bit inside knowing that it's over and have to move to fixing it and future projects( thus new teams, reasignment and so on)

in a game based almost entirely on reality, i think only the kingdoms are fictional, adding religion is like adding fantasy to it.
We add it in real life because we need fantasy, let's keep at least the game real and experience a world that would function without it...
Now that i think about it... M&B is a fantasy game... it's about a world similar with our but no religion , i a parallel world maybe we named our kingdoms in the past like the Calradia ones, and we drink from skulls and pray to no one

i don't know if this was mentioned before but it would be nice to have more factions on the battle field, like 3 armies meeting at the same time and fight 1v1v1 and start from 3 separate positions, or one of them being in the middle, fighting on 2 fronts, and if they lose the other 2 will still fight
this could applay for instance when you wait for an ambush and instead of one party showing up, 2 of them are coming and start fighting and you can chose to help one, the other of fight them both

just imagine what kind of pc u need to play with another one or two players...
given the size and the possible requirements speculated.. not many people will be able to play to begin with..

also then can focus on an entire different game on this topic AFTER bannerlord

I also bet on next GOT season

it would be nice to fight more than 1v1... no need to see an actual battle, even to start with 3 or more factions in one battlefield would be awesome, think about it like this: someone saw you coming and everyone regrouped since they couldn't tell whom u will join (so they wait for your reaction)
another scenario is that u meet at a cross roads with multiple armies that are negociating or something

the point is a Free For All battle of even 100 troops each would be a lovely chaos

the interesting fact will be if u can grow like a lord-killer-bandit, and reshape the world as u hunt lords and bring disorder, thus making easier for you to become a ruler later in game
