    The Norsemen is the main viking clan in EU who primarily plays on the EU 2 siege server. The Norsemen has been created from the Band of Foxes and is currently recruiting all viking players.

    There are a few requirements in becoming a Norse member:
    •  Willing to have some fun
    •  Respect all other players and all server rules
    •  Never abuse other players or discriminate
    •  Willing to learn and become more skilled at the game

    I respect your opinion but the poll is what it is.  Polls/statistics are used in business all the time.  Pretty much every product you purchase or interact with has been statistically analysed in a similar way.

    Fairenough man, also I have just read that because of the Latest Warband version being released hours before VC it has been made buggy due to it being made for the outdated version ^^ So I think it may be quicker to fix than I first thought...

    Hi lads, while it's cool to find people interested in my liege clan (my family is one of those supporting septs). I think you have got a little mixed up with the timings of the period. I would recommend changing your name to the Kingdom of Dal Riata circa 7th century.  http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dál_Riata

    This was the kingdom in the so called "dark age" which encompassed Argyll (Campbell lands)

    1) We don't censor opinions on this forum, if someone wants to offer a negative post about a game, then so be it (I for one thing this game looks interesting and I did enjoy cRPG, but no one is going to enforce some "don't say" bad things about the game in this thread policy).

    2) Again, the convention here is new threads aren't created every time something "new" happens with a game (go look at any other game thread or really any topic about a larger issue, such as the situation in Ukraine, new threads aren't thrown up just because a new development happens).

    3) If you have something you feel should be in the OP then write up a post and private message Temuzu or a global moderator and ask them to add it. (This is not an attempt at being snarky, but it took me all of 30 seconds to PM Llandly earlier and ask her to update Temuzu's post, which she did in less than 5 minutes.)



    Concerning the topic at hand, a good amount of donations have come in and with that in mind I've upped my donation to what I would pay for a normal game ($45). I really enjoy melee combat games and given the narrowness of the field I am willing to go big on this one.

    After all, apart from Warband and the upcoming Bannerlord, there isn't really anything else on the horizon that fits this "niche" of ours so I don't really see a benefit in playing things safe.

    Sure I understand that, but people need to realise this is not cRPG. Melee is a stand alone game with completely different game mechanics. For example everyone starts at the same level, and its up to you to choose your points, to specialise in one class or more. This takes the ****ty grind away :smile: Hence why I think its a real shame, because as soon as someone opens this thread, (like I did) unless you know about the game those negative comments at the start will really put you off, of course they would. Depends if you admins are cool enough to promote this new independent game with actually gracing it an official discussion thread, aside from this outdated one.
