Though I might think of more things later, I just want to play the game for a while without it crashing.

On my first playing of it I crashed when getting to the Merchant of Maccavia's house because I ran out of shader memory. I was also unable to load one of the dirt textures when I was being ambushed by the bandit at the start. I'll try playing it a few more times and turn down my Direct X if necessary, though I feel that will only partially mitigate the problems.

After playing on the lower DX setting I was able to get further but it was my inability to load some texture when going into battle I crashed again. Also is the Lord of Maccavia supposed to be without a shirt? Also the Leather armor texture doesn't work so it looks like marshmallow armor.

How is the progress? Is there anything I can do to help it come along?

I hope the next version is more stable.

I haven't played much since it crashed last time, but I'd like to add something about the map. There seem to be huge areas that sink far below water-level. They look a bit off when there's rivers nearby but no water collected downhill.

That's strange ... I never get crashes. How old is your computer/laptop?

My Video-card is about a year and a half old. I can run most games I play on Max settings but for whatever reason I have problems loading all of the cool custom textures. Sometimes the ground is invisible, sometimes it's blue. After less than a hour of playing I always crash, which is unfortunate because I really like this mod so far. I know Switching to the lower Direct X makes things run smoother, but I can run games like Natural Selection and TF2 on max settings, why can't I run M&B with this mod with the same settings? Vanilla M&B gives me none of these problems.

I just crashed because I couldn't load some textures and I received a C++ run-time library error before it Crashed to desktop.

I like the map so far but I have to echo the other dude who suggested things be spread out a bit more. The map is a wee bit congested.
