Warband kicking was much more fluent, you could kick virtually whenever, however in bannerlord ive found that after any input (block, attack, hold attack etc) you are unable to kick for at least one second.
Also kicking offers no reward for hitting unless you are x v 1'ing someone, you cannot punish them with your own kicks.
