    Mihailo is a selective researcher, and people must be blind not to see that. For example:

    I have already done enough by alarming visitors that history researcher for this mod is a fascist and a chetnik. I have also notified some people of his "10 facts", but sadly they do not play the game or mod so they may lack interest to interfere here.

    Šešelj has his own beliefs in history that he has expressed numerous times during his trial in Haag.

    For example, he claims that communists established Montenegro nation, which is very similar to what you claim here(that all nations descended mainly from Serbs, only to be converted or manipulated into other nations later):

    Your whole search is biased and it would be all right if this was a fantasy mod. It certainly is a fantasy mod for your fundamentalist personality, but that does not mean that other people in here should conceive this as the truth.

    I am sorry for bringing this up, but some things have to be pointed out. Some things have to be said about this self-proclaimed alleged non-nationalist guy, MihailoSRB.

    I really like the europe 1200 mod but the fact that MihailoSRB, one of your researcher that worked on "Banate of Bosnia", is openly supporting someone accused of war crimes that took place in that same region of the real world, really waters down experience for me.

    Researches by this guy are obviously BIASED.

    Also, his post(http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,214348.msg5250085.html#msg5250085) about facts on how Bosnia is serbian land, and how everything was serbian there is fine example of Šešeljs explanation of history: It is easy to "find" the facts when you are trying to prove already-formed opinion.

    Fact of the matter is that there aren't many solid facts about this part of Europe in 12th century. But it sure as hell does not mean Bosnia was serbian land.

    And yet... that was almost two years ago? Anyone know if anything actually happened, like a really subtle tweak, or has it never been improved after all? I still think it really could stand to benefit from a wider view, and it would be a whole lot better if the devs implemented it themselves.

    I did read that post couple of years ago, and I even suggested something about it in terms of First person view, but there was nothing said about it since. I believe the game would benefit from having dedicated 1st person servers which make combat and everything a lot more personal and immersive.

    Here is a video I made of me playing in 1st person with increased FOV(1680x800). It is very clear that one benefits from it since its much easier to keep the opponent in your field of vision and even 2 vs 1 fight, as demonstrated, is possible. At end, it gives much better feeling of game for me and I know there are other dedicated 1st person view players out there who will benefit from this.

  5. Bigger FOV is possible(at cost)

    I initially tried to to increase Field of View for the crippled first person view, but this method increases FOV in 3rd person also. All that is required is editing My Documents\Mount&Blade Warband\rgl_config.txt file. Open it and find these lines: start_windowed = 0 (Change 0 to 1)...

    Well it certainly prevents against everyone taking 2handers.... but like I said, "crush trough block" should work atleast 3 times out of 10 tries, but this is not the case. I tested it 20 times with Two handed sword against small yatagan and it never crushed trough block....

    I the game is NOT slower - gameplay is different. 2h weapons are longer, slower and have attributes of blunt weapons.

    For example:
    Damascus steel yatagan has speed of 110 - thats faster than any weapon in Warband MP.

    Two handed sword has reach of 140, speed 63 but it has "crush trough block", "unbalanced" and "bonus against shield" attributes.

    What does this mean? Basically, Fire and Sword is not a game for 2 handed duelists. Its a game that requires TEAMWORK and no ramboing.

    Example of how to play:
    If you have 2 handed sword, pike, poll-axe or any other big long slow weapon you need to walk with your teammates and keep the weapons on ready while they reload muskets or pistols.

    The only thing I have not figured out is how does "crush trough block" work since charged overhead attack is being stopped every time by a small sabre or yatagan and there is no crush-trough.

    If you are playing Siege mode, what is needed is to make human barricades - Take small portions of the castles while you hold off enemies waiting for backup to arrive and than push further and repeat.

    Well it makes sense if they were aiming towards realism, but this means that crush trough block should happen much more often... Maybe there is a stun, but I'm not sure. I wish someone could elaborate.

    Besides the obvious addition of gunpowder based weapons, what is the difference in combat? I have noticed that alot of the 2h weapons are given attributes of crush trough block and bonus against shields, but do these really work? I am asking only because my charged overhead pole-axe attack is...
  11. Who's going back to Warband?

    It has been barely 24 hours since game is released and already people are posting negative reviews. This is not WARBAND!!! You cant expect to "pwn" people in game that has been released a day ago.

    Lets not forget that patches are to follow for sure. As I recall, for Warband to reach today's 1.134 it had to go from v1.0 over, v1.1, v1.113, v1.123, v1.132... maybe even more. So chill out and go back to playing.

    There seems to be a major problem with this mod.

    People will often join your faction, train for footman and start to tk until you kick them out of the faction. Now they are footman commoners who will attack your castle and you cant lock them out because they spawn everywhere. They are better than outlaws.

    Only way you can prevent them to do it is to kick them from server.

    Shouldnt class be reset to commoner serf or whatever once you kick them out of the faction?

    [/quote]To send faction announcements as lord is the same as shouting in local chat: hold right shift when pressing the enter key, as specified in the info screen that shows when you join.

    EDIT#2: It worked!!! When you press ENTER just before sending message out! Thats when you need to hold shift ARGH, thanks.

    First congratulations on the mod. It can be ranked as drug-level addictive. Now, some questions(PW_4_alpha4):

    1. How to become this assasin everyone talks about?
    2. How can one heal horses when they are wounded badly?
    3. How do the lord messages work? I hold shift + press I key, release shift, type message and it comes out as small letters, not big in middle of screen.
    4. How to select in which castle you spawn after you die? It says press 1-5 to spawn, but I dont know what number to press.
    5. Is it possible to have map reset once one faction captures all the castles(along with big message about the name of what faction won)? It would add more to goal-objective typed game rather than roleplaying random actions. (I already know that you can recapture castles from mercs training+banner)
    6. Is there a full mod guide on english language?
    7. I have heard that some people say their progress did not save, why is that?
    8. How does door locking work? Are unmovable doors locked by lord by default? I know thet gold chest is locked as lord by holding use key.
    9. How can one become a lockpicker and is there a lockpick tool?
    10. The castle of green faction, next to the wooden castle, can be jumped at with horse even if the bridge is up, is it meant to be this way?

    And also there are people who, by generalizing things, stir up a mess. If you want to accuse say what exactly is taken because I was just now watching you tube videos of Onin no Ran and don't see similarity. Animations are stiff, I did not see same armor/clothes, sounds are different. What is taken?
