  1. Building Arrow Baskets During Siege for attackers

I like the addition of arrow baskets to refill ammo for defenders, but I would also like to see the same options available for attackers. This could be another optional project built pre-siege, similar to the battering ram or towers. At the least, it would be nice if the old chest or something...
  2. Siege tower issues, Siege issues in general *bit of satire to boot*

Siege towers definitely need work. Right now, ladders seem more effective. They should either be ramps instead of ladders or the ai should have enough space and programming to load up on top of the tower before the tower gate opens. When 3 ladders are that close together, the defending ai dogpiles on top of it and will massacre anyone using it. The default ladders are much safer since the ai has to spread between the 3 different points.

That said, so far the best way to break through a siege that I have found is to have everyone follow me, break down the front gate with a ram (the ai very rarely seems able to break these even with full siege weapon set up) and then just run past the guards behind the second gate with all the troops following me. This works because there seems to be two additional problems with siege defender ai:

    1) the ai defenders right behind the main gate will just stand there. I don't know if they just don't have enough room to attack or what, but I can regularly run right by/through them and not get hit at all. The ones on the edges will slowly fight back but the ones in the center usually stand there waiting to die.

    2) The ai never seems to utilize the kill box between the main gate and the second gate. I don't think I have been killed in there once. It is essentially a safe place for attackers when it should be one of the most dangerous places to be. To be fair, defender ai in general is a problem and one of the hardest parts of being on the defensive side of a siege (half the time my troops won't even get on the catapults or ballista no matter what I click).

The sieges look great and the foundation is there for epic gameplay, but there definitely needs to be some work done here. Maybe custom orders or some different plans that can be given pre-siege to alter behavior away from the field behavior.
  3. Smithing can be very lucrative

If you make the javelin with the fine steel head, it sells for 40k+. I do like the idea of a skilled crafter being able to sell wares for a good price, but after a little time in to crafting the economy is functionally broken. I like the idea of having a set base price for materials used as a starting point and then these can be adjusted later as the economy becomes more developed.
  4. Please change tier 1 perks for Leadership to make them meaningful

I would very much like to see a passive method, particularly for later in the game, to consistently get recruit to tier 1 troops. I don't really want much beyond that since the rag tag bands of all the different troop types is part of the appeal of the game and passively getting big elite stacks everywhere would be no fun, but being able to bump my recruits up reliably with a bit of time and money input shouldn't be out of the question without having to chase around a bunch of looters.
  5. Another way to train troops

That is an understatement. Raise the Meek adds so little XP that it's affect are almost unnoticeable. The developers and I differ greatly on the meaning of a "medium amount of XP". If the description of the perk was accurate it would say "barely any XP."
I feel like it is so small that the number is just a placeholder atm and it isn't actually fully implemented. Kind of like crossbows.
  6. Limited Passive Training

It would be nice to see very limited passive training options, potentially as an additional place to spend all that hard earned gold. I feel like the system should be primarily about getting recruits in to their most basic soldier option and really nothing more, but maybe have some more...
  7. Another way to train troops

I would like more troop training options as well, but keep it limited. I would be ok if they could just be trained out of recruit in to the first tier of an actual troop. At most, the second tier, but everything else should be battle xp or you will end up with stacks of the best troops everywhere. One nice thing I have noticed about Bannerlord is that the AI follows the same rule as you. Ran in to a big lord army after there had been a lot of battles and I had to refill my ranks with recruits, and realized he had done the same thing. It was a massive recruit throw down!
