  1. Lady Isolla of Suno Claimant Quest -Broken-

Why'd you bring this to life?
    o_o
Because after years of waiting there still isn't a fix for this bug, or if there is it is extremely difficult to find.

These instructions don't fix the bug, they just make a cosmetic change to one of the text strings. Winning the rebellion still makes the quest impossible to complete, even though the object of the quest is to win the rebellion.

Does anyone have any idea how the correct quest ending is triggered? I have a save with two loyalist armies still on the map very close to each other. If I only knew the proper steps to take to finish the quest without triggering the bug I could in about 20 minutes finally win a rebellion. (Every time I've tried I've gotten this exact same bug.)
  2. The Loot skill & You - What have you found?

I got a Demon Horse!  A heavy one at that ... 91 armor, 500+ hp, virtually indestructible ... and really mean-looking, too.

I think there's a way to mod extra wave #'s to sieges.  Add another 6-8 waves of attacks to sieges and see what happens.
  4. How do you recruit lord?

To start your own kingdom you have to ask one of your seneschals that you want to do that.  You also have to not be allied as either a mercenary, vassal, or faction rebel.  You must be completely unattached, then conquer something, then talk to the seneschal and create the "Kingdom of Pendor".  Now you're a King!
  5. towns from lords

Go to the seneschal in a castle or town you already own and ask for "Diplomacy", then tell him you want to assign a fief to a lord.  Choose the fief to assign, then choose yourself.  You'll take a diplomacy hit with your lords, especially the one who loses the fief.

You must own at least one castle or city so you can talk to the seneschal.

The best way to gain territory is conquering.  You get "friend points" for giving fiefs away, but you don't take a penalty for conquering territory, at least not if you're at war, so you might as well conquer and gift.

If you want towns for yourself, like those with Knighthood Orders already built, just conquer them and don't give them to anybody.  To the victor go the spoils.
  6. Removing trees tweak

Chopping down the tree types really had an impact on frame rate but without denuding the terrain.  Thanks!
  7. lords

Most times I get knocked out it is when my horses gets stopped be some other horse running in front and a couched lance takes me.
Ahh, lance-in-the-back, an old classic.  Even the freshest-faced cadets from Young Noble Academy can get lucky with lance-in-the-back.
Axe-in-the-face is another story.  Enemy archers don't seem to be as prone to the lucky headshot, but that's probably because I'm more on my guard when somebody hauls out a bow.  But axe-in-the-face ... it's the axe you don't see that gets you ...

Something else to consider on the topic of siege personnel are troop slots.

If your siege target has a lot of different troop types held prisoner and you're in desperate need of garrison troops attack with as few lines as you can get away with, like say Companions and Knights of Dawn backed by Ravenstern Rangers and your Medic in the rear.  If you run low of KoD's switch out to Huscarls; run low on Rangers switch to Greys.  Just don't bring both.

When you rescue freed prisoners you can grab a lot more the fewer lines you're already carrying.
  9. lords

I can think of a reason for 200 honor troops: if you get knocked out too many times and it falls to the auto-resolve you need every advantage you can get.

I don't know if improving honor troops actually makes them perform better on auto-resolve, though.
  10. Recruiting Pendorians vs Post-Pendorians -- Random?

Two final questions: how long 'til the troop type randomizer resets, and when is the troop type established?  (A certain time of day, upon visiting the village, only upon asking for recruits, etc.)
  11. Recruiting Pendorians vs Post-Pendorians -- Random?

I'm trying to get all Pendor recruits and find that sometimes I recruit Pendorians but sometimes I get the neo-faction the village belonged to before I changed its culture to Pendorian. Is there any way to control the cultural background of the new recruits or is it random?

But it doesn't hurt to stock a spare ... running out of Baggage Train bread could be a disaster if morale is already low.
  13. Too many unit types: battles won't load units

    Sweet.

Ravenstern just declared war on me, so maybe I'll get lucky and capture a Silvermist Order.
  14. Two Ways This Game Cheats!

I have a pretty good idea where the laggy areas are now.
And the "wipe the floor with a core army of elites" stage does come, just not right away.  In Native that stage is ridiculously early in the game.

Pendor in my experience has a much more pronounced "Bell Curve" in levelling -- the first levels are slow because you can only fight weak opponents and the later levels because of the increasing cost per level.

But levels, say, 18 - 28 go by really fast.  Regularly winning battles weighted at 20-30 renown also rapidly builds your max army size.

Tactics, Trainer, and Surgery are huge factors in building a consistently winning army.  If you pick the "Ansen / Sigismund" circles the medical skills have to be earned, but you get good tactics and training.
  15. Too many unit types: battles won't load units

You can build an archery-focused honor troop?
