Worked for me too after patch 1.0.10. Immediately after giving a fief to vassal, main quest progressed forward so it seems that it was a problem with the main quest.

Still crashing in 1.0.9. Just to test I tried to give already owned settlements to different vassals and had no problems until I was trying to give Lageta to someone. Also happens with Onira so it would seem to crash only when assigning big cities.

Same problem here but different settlement ( Onira castle ), still crashing in 1.0.7

Same problem here but in my case it crashes when choosing an owner for Onira castle. Mine started before patch 1.0.5.

I have the same problem. Trying to give Onira castle to one of my vassals and when I press "Done" it crashes. Tried to choose different vassal and same result. Since the decision can't be ignored my save is unplayable at the moment.
