As far as the collect a debt and end a quarrel type quests, how do you get those again? I forget. I thought one of them was only available through marriage, but I also can't remember if you can marry without being a vassal, and if so, if you can still get those kinds of quests through your wife if you aren't. Idk, like I said, it's been a long time since I've played and I can't remember lol.

I actually like doing that quest, as crazy as that sounds, lol. I may be mistaken, but don't you get more rep for completing that quest than the other ones? If so, the annoyance of keeping the herd from wandering and the slow movement is the "risk", and the "reward" is the greater rep you get for it.

If I'm wrong, then yeah, use TweakMB or ignore it. If you do get more rep though, then I'd say it's balanced.

Ahh, I didn't even think of letting them take it and then taking it back. I just assumed they would sit there with a force of 600 and we'd never get it back, but I suppose sometimes they just leave until it has an owner and I could snake it back.

Funny thing is, this is THE perfect setup for a revolt. No one has land because the kings are hoarding it all for themselves or giving it to 1 or 2 people, everyone is getting kicked around and hates their kings, plus I have about 13 friends... With 13 properties. LoL. My guy isn't set up for sieges at allllll though. I just stand underneath the ladder and hope my guys win =P (I'm playing with normal damage across the board and the AI on Good, and I have a 6 STR with no ironflesh, so I die in 1-4 good hits).

Anyway, thanks for the reminder; I may have to just empty the garrisons and let them have it and then recapture it.

I was doing a search, I forget on what, and I saw something about a .003 patch from around 2 months ago I think it was? But it was posted I think in the mods section, but it just said Native Mod Patch or something like that.

Is it actually FOR the actual native, or is it a patch to a mod that was done based off of native? I'm confused, and maybe you have no idea what I'm even talking about, idk, LoL. I just saw something in it about "Troops now spawn in your castles like they do for other Lords", which I thought would be pretty important if I missed it!

LOL ahh ok, yeah I figured    I just didn't know if I was looking for a little fire in the middle of the village when zoomed in, or if it was like a super noticable thing even when zoomed out. Hopefully I'll get it to work later today! I'll keep trying, and if not I guess I'll have to skip the fires D:

I haven't been in a situation to try it again, next time I'll mess with the video settings just to make sure.

What do the fires look like though? If anyone happens to be playing and wants to take a quick screenshot and post it that would be cool!

It still doesn't seem to be working .  It's not raided, the guy isn't free, and I go back 4, even 5 times, sometimes even waiting a day inbetween and I see nothing =(.  These tips did help though especially if it happens in the future if I get it to work somehow, so thanks!  Oh, and yeah I made sure it was the village associated with the town!

Is it possible that I just can't SEE the fires, because of my settings? I have everything pretty much as low as I can get it with everyone off, because I'm using an older computer. Is there a type of setting I have turned off that maybe wouldn't show the fires? Any chance one of you could post a screenshot for me of what it looks like?

Also, when you guys say wait, do you mean by holding the spacebar, or just riding around? Sometimes I wonder if me holding space to advance time is what's messing it up, or if me hitting tab inside the village then clicking leave is messing it up maybe? I don't know how else to leave a town though, it's been a while since I played heheh.

Woah, Sweet! I played the Warband Beta and then my computer died, and I haven't had the money to get a new one since, but thankfully I'm able to use my brother's pretty often!

Thing is, I'm in America, so what happens if I try to buy it from there? Will it just automatically convert, and then give me a key and a link to download it from somewhere, or?  I was just going to get it today too so I'm glad you posted this! If you know, please say something ASAP as I'd like to get playing again right away!

Yeah, I've seen ADD_Test, and Rhade for example do this many times and it makes me laugh. Last night I think it was, Test was being attacked by 4 people and killed 3 before the last one got him, LoL.  Idk how people do that ****

If someone riding 30mph (QUICK! Horse fanatics disreguard the whole post because I got the mph wrong and ignore everything else and make several posts on how I'm wrong because I made up a horse speed!! HURRY!! Before someone else does it with a synically ****-eating smirk while reaching into their 7th mini-bag of Doritoes for the hour!!), plunges a sharp metal object into your hand, you'll likely have your hand torn off or it would be a mangled mess of hamburger meat. Same goes for any other part of the body. Armor helps, but the best you can hope for is completely shattering all or most of the bones in your hand and wrist.

Or you could just hold up your shield .

Or if you find youself in a bad position, do what I do and try to jump up and to the right of the horse where it's harder for them to you and line you up, and while you're in mid-air swing for the fences and hope to catch them in the chest and knock em off the horse. I've only remembered to try it a couple times but I think I've seen others do it before!

No, it occours in the times in my original post . The tab thing just happened to me again a minute ago. I wasn't alt+tabbing out, I was just holding down tab to check the scoreboard to see what team to join, and I clicked a team while I had tab held down. It instantaneously restarted my computer. No message, nothing. I held tab, clicked, screen went instantly black and rebooted. I can duplicate constantly, like I said it happens about 50 to 75% of the time, I'm just tired and forgot to let go of tab this time.

The other instance was strange in the sence that I hit T to bring up chat window while running, then alt-tabbed just to check my msn quick while I was approaching something and it instantly rebooted there too.

I thought it was an overheat or something like that too, but the only time my computer restarts is in those scenarios. And again, I run the game smoothly on low settings. I very rarely experience choppiness or anything even, it seems to run the game fine, and I've never (even after marathon single player sessions) had my computer restart, or even had it lock up or crash on me. The worst I ever have is when new enemies/reinforcements come in it lags for like 1-2 seconds as they all pop on the screen, that's it. And again, I can duplicate these 2 bugs pretty much at will, same circumstances and all!
