This post deserves more attention. Smithing is actually kinda fun, i love the fact that it was added! Your post does a great job of explaining how the system could be improved.

One final note, by the end of early access I would love to see the addition of an armor tree to the system. This is more of a wish than a practical request at this point <3.

Askorti - that's a great answer thank you. I did read about the MP flag but didn't make the connection till now.

I don't really understand what people mean when they say that the items were on multiplayer? There only appears to be.... like 100 items total in multiplayer. Perhaps I'm wrong about this, but I've heard this comment thrown out a lot without seeing any evidence. Just curious if anyone has an answer.

Agreed heavily ^. I've put 30 hours into the game already. I've done 2ish playthroughs. I'm ready to take a break and want to know when i should start up my next play through. A roadmap would ease so much of the complaining on these forums if done right.

In my mind i believe they have another week of specifically bug fixing, followed by re-balancing and optimization and turning features on (like perks), followed by finishing and developing new features. But that's merely speculation.
