I've played both M&B and Warband for 100-200 hours each, and I payed less than 30 dollars for each. How many full price games at 50-60 dollars have you played that can offer 200+ hours of fun game play? I've already bought WF&S, and even if things aren't all that different from the last two games, I'm sure that I will not be alone in enjoying this game. Honestly, Warband and the original are probably the two most played games in my collection, and I am still playing it pretty often. So instead of worrying about what is wrong with the game or marketing, why not just be excited for it? I know I am

I have had pretty frequent crashes, and there are a couple that seem random, but the vast majority of them are similar. I will be fighting a battle, usually relatively small in size (i.e. less than 25 on each side), when the game will lock up. The game seems to twitch between two frames repeatedly when it crashes. I have experienced this crash in multiple places and against varied opponents. There are also some other crashes, but those don't seem similar and I can't really see any similarity between them. I am relatively early in the game (day 19 or something like that), and I have not been using any cheats or tweaks. The game settings are at approximately medium level ( I can usually run warband on max, but I can understand if this mod is more resource intensive). I'll try to lower settings further, but I am doubtful as to whether this will help as I experience the same amount of crashes on medium as I did on high. I hope there is a fix, as from what I have seen so far, this mod is excellent (besides the instability). Thanks a lot!

Intel core 2 quad Q8200 at 2.33ghz
Radeon 4850
4gb memory
Windows XP 32 Bit

I check the Caravanserai every now and then to see what mods have updated, or if there is something new. I was quite surprised to see this. I loved this mod for the original, and I am sure the Warband port will be great! Can't wait for it to finish downloading

I really want to try this mod, but I keep getting crashes when I start the game. I get a error message that says rgl error. I assumed this was related to the modified rgl config file so I checked that out, but I changed it correctly like instructed in the installation guide. I'm not really sure why it isn't working, I followed the guide and I am fairly sure that I didn't make a mistake.

I tried setting the value changed in the config file back to the default, and that allowed the game to start up and I got to start a new game, but the game then crashed when I got to the part where you pick your facial characteristics, hair, etc. I tried both 256 and 512 as suggested in the guide (I have 4gb of RAM). I also tried Native, and that is working fine. I think I will try a reload of warband but I am doubtful as to whether that will work.

I think I will play in this event. Sounds like a lot of fun  (Help! Help! I'm being repressed!) Of course now I have an urge to go watch python again.

I have had steam for a long time now, even when it was new and extremely buggy. Nowadays, Steam isn't too bad and it has really good sales every now and then. The only problems I ever have is that it updates automatically, and occasionally you don't want the most current update, and that if you lack a reliable internet connection, it can be a pain sometimes. However, it definitely does save some time that you would otherwise have to find the patch, download it, and then install it. I would recommend steam hands down (unless you have really unreliable internet, then it isn't as useful  ).
