In the movie the average spartan didnt have the hair on their helment. Only leonidas.
Hence solving your problem.

When will the first major realease be?(mainly a actual map)

As in weeks or months? I also suggest you update the first post with screens and info of the mod right now.

EDIT.
Ive incountered a bug in the new version. When I try and talk to leonidas or the spartans. it crashes.

Also in the movie all the persians did have some type of uniform. Even the slaves. So I suggest to give them a robe simlar to what they had in the movie. It was basically useless tho.
And maybe rename ZENDAR, to the spartan camp. and move it a little closer the the persians.
And in the movie only Leonidas had the fur thing on his helment. Maybe in the enxt version you can remove it from the spartans besides his and that way you can give him normal colors and he would be more noticeable by his helment then color. (like the movie)
Also all the converstaions are messed up. So I cant buy food. there for they strave and the spartans desert me after awhile. So I suggest an unlimted food type deal.

This mod is pretty damn awesome. Just keep adding on to it and it will look great. Although I have some suggestions.


Make the Sparatans stronger! Make ALL persians about 1/2 the strenegth or less than the spartans other than the imortals which should be pretty damn close.

Also give the spartan armor and weapons better stats!!! Some of the persians carry stronger helments or armor or swords than the spartans. What the heck?

And last but not least. Get a REAL spartan helment.


Otherwise great mod, oh and get rid of the old mount and blade stuff, even tho its kind of fun lol.

Aye, I guess you kind of beat me too it. I was learning to mod for M&B and I myself was makin a 300 mod follwoing the steps

Althought I don't have enough time for such a thing but  I suggest you keep it just like the movie. It would probablly be more funner, and since there isnt a offical 300 game it would probably draw more people. Its very common for people to buy a game just for a mod. Keep it like the movie.

Also just for historical facts (i'm sure they've been listed but) there were indeed more than 300 greeks. But there was the famous 300 spartans, the spartans also had 700 thebians, a inslaved city-state or tribe, what ever helping them. But there was about 5000 other greek allies helping them, but once the spartans knew that the persians found the goat path the sent the other 5000 greeks home (Besides the 700 thebians) to tell their tale.

Its on wiki, just dont feel like hot linkin and everything. But if you really want historical facts about it just search the REAL  historical name of it "The Battle Of Thermopylae"

Please fix this bug, i still can take castles or vilalges with the bug fix....this is frustrating. I won't play this mod again till someone shows proof or gives proof of actually being able to take castels or vilalges FOR YOUR OWN
